Lasted about 2months before the first one ripped. Then another few months two more ripped. There’s about 3 left. If the bottom of your door or existing door sweep looks like garbage, this is an easy to install replacement. BUT the middle pieces rip easily. Still looks good overall, but the middle pieces are gone.Easy to cut with tool (not regular scissors). Easy to install(with screws). Seals well for the most part (some fins will eventually rip)….

With my door at 1 3/4" thick, I didn't even need to screw it on...the pressure holds it perfectly. I easily cut the length using a hand hack saw.

Got the item, was 36 in so I had to cut it down to 30 inch to fit my storm door. Follow the directions to install it will not stay clipped together it keeps popping apart. Going to have to find a one-piece unit that does not adjust I think.

We rent and our back door had one of these on it. Our dog got her cable caught on it and pulled it off at no fault of the product. She thinks she's an ox lol. I bought a replacement because we are responsible tenants and it was as if it was a first-time install because I am OCD and my landlord is not lol. I wanted to properly center it so that it would be harder for Ms Ox to get her cable caught in it. It was super easy to install and works great.

This fit my wood door great and it easily installed. It seals the bottom of my door and I have absolutely No air leaks. The only thing I would recommend they do is make the little fins on the bottom a little more flexible, of course maybe not because it is working great and doing its job rather good.What had happened is when I first installed it the one fin to outside pulled off while initially opening and closing the door testing it. I went ahead and tore it the rest the way off and then only had 4 fins left, but they weren’t catching on my threshold like the outside one was. Either way it’s still working great with just the 4 remaining fins and it might have just been how my threshold was built.

This item is great as long as you measure your door first and read instructions. Make sure you have space under your door or it won't work. DO NOT BUY THE STICK ON ADHESIVE BRAND/style. They do not last. I had a 30" wide door, I cut it easily with a dremel cut off wheel. A fine saw should work too, but not as easily. Shears will distort the trim too much because of the u shape. This made a fantastic seal on my old exterior door that finally lost it's integrated rubber sweep.

This beast of an under door stopper was recently tested in the harrowing Texas Winter Disaster - and I can report that this performed above and beyond!This amazing door stopper resisted harsh, bitter below zero cold, driving blizzard like winds, and ruthless all encasing thick ice that froze over everything. Not a single drop of water got in!As the seasons have changed spring storms are firing up, and driving rain and hail have also been unable to pierce this barrier.I am very pleased by the performance of this item, and highly recommend it if you have a drafty exterior door. This monster will make it harder to open the door if you have a tight tolerance between door and floor, so measure twice BEFORE you order this!This item is MATTE and a heavy duty Plastic or PVC or similar modern material, I assume.

Imagine my surprise when I walked into my laundry room and discovered it to be full of water from a clogged gutter spilling in front of my back door, flooding my house because my back door did not fit tightly enough to the door frame at the bottom. Sure the previous owners installed a storm door. But how can I keep a storm door shut when it's the only way my two princess pugs can get outside to empty their delicate bowels in lieu of using my kitchen floor? Storm door stays open. So I bought this thing hoping my single mom status would not keep me from effectively executing the monumentous repair job. It arrived quickly and was made of vinyl, not metal, to my surprise. I guess I didn't read well. After procrastinating a month for what would surely be another of my collosal failures in home repair, I just busted open the package and went to work. It slipped right onto my open door, so I made some marks on it with some scissors where I needed to cut it. I whipped out the old tin snips I smuggled from my ex before leaving him and went to work. They cut through this thing like butter. But nothing with any less heft would have done the job so well. Kitchen shears barely made a notch. Even my delicate accountant's hands handled this like a pro. I slipped it back on, lined it up, shut the door, made sure it was positioned as low as it would go on the door, then I screwed in each tiny screw into each hole with my Black and Decker electric "lady" screwdriver - I felt in a delicate mood, no need to pull out the big Dewalt. Each screw went into the door like butter. What a dream. The fit is sealed tight. I am so happy that now there will be fewer roached, spiders, mosquitos and rain gracing the inside of my house. This was once of my best buys ever.

My back door bottom sweep rubbers had failed twice, so rather than contacting the door manufacturer again, I ordered this sweep which was the right dimensions for my door. easy to install, cut to length and screw in. The seal is optimal, and though it hasn't been a long time to see whether the rubbers would fatigue early, so far it appears very durable. For the price, and my energy cost savings I already feel like I haven't gone wrong on this purchase.
