The M-D Aluminum Extender is designed to extend the depth of your sill type threshold. For best fit, used with M-D thresholds. No hardware is needed for installation. Before installation, the extender can be cut to a desired length using a hacksaw.

These M-D Building Products in swing sill extenders are for TH394 and TH397 style sills. They fit sills 2-Inch deep and 36-Inch wide.

Cut down to 32” easily with grinder. Trouble fitting into therma tru door. Managed to get it in, but was a hassle. In the end, did the job.

I needed a longer sill on the threshold, this product fit great and looks like it was intended to be there. Will buy again when I add more storm doors.

This arrived well packaged in bubble wrap and a large sturdy box. It literally took about 10 minutes to install. I was sure to put a kick plate under it to support it. Works perfect.

I was installing a storm door and there was a large gap under the door where it did not meet the threshold. Needed a wider door threshold and looked at replacing the whole bottom of the door, but then I found this. It was for a specific brand, but matched up with my threshold fine. Just held it at and angle and tilted down to lock it in place. Fits perfect and solved my problem. Super easy to install and fit the width perfect! Now my storm door seals great along the bottom.

I needed a new door with a 6 1/2" jamb. It would be a special order. "Nobody got time for that" . I bought the same door instock with a 4 1/2" jamb . I extended the jamb to 61/2". I bought this 2" jamb extension and it fit perfect on this Jeldwen door from Lowe's. 👍👍

I purchased a Pella door at a large box store. The door installed easy and looks great, but there was a small gap between the new door sill and the exterior house bricks. This item easily snapped onto my Pella door sill (after the door was already installed). Its a silver extension. I was planning to paint it black to match the door sill, but it looks fine so I am probably just going to 'leave it as is'. Easy install. I feel like it is on there really snugly. I wasn't sure if the item would work with a Pella, but it worked with mine!

Bought a 4” wide door at Lowes but needed to convert to 6” framing. Built wood frame but needed threshold. This fit the Reliabilt door perfectly. Only wish is everyone used the same pattern in the threshold but besides that it works well.
