I’m beyond pleased with how well it works. The switch itself is well-designed with a clear "ON" and "OFF" indication, and it rotates smoothly with little effort. The switch has a compact size, so it doesn’t take up too much space, which is perfect for installations in tight areas. It’s designed to handle a wide voltage range of 12V to 48V, which makes it versatile for use in many different applications. If not, get someone who knows what they are doing. A simple turn of the knob is all it takes for preventing battery drain when my RV is not in use. Couldn't figure out why my dual 5th wheel batteries would keep getting drained after a few months in storage, despite me turning my rig's "battery shutoff" to the off position. Turns out there are a number of parasitical powered items still running, like smoke/propane detectors. So this took care of that. It's the same as disconnecting the battery wires.I ran the negative wire through this switch instead of the positive in the instructions. Seems to work the same - as long as the circuit is broken.Only slight complaint is that the copper terminal connectors they provide (nice that they're copper, not aluminum!) is that they don't fit very well inside the switch housing. In my case, I didn't need to disconnect one or the other battery but both together as there's only one negative wire, so I just removed the nut on the second pole and that made space for the lug.So I would recommend the manufacturer actually wire this up and see how things fit. Otherwise, nicely made unit with a nice tight, satisfying "click" to it.

Der Schalter an sich ist gut verarbeitet. Nach etwas mehr als einem Jahr hat der Schalter von jetzt auf gleich Übergangsprobleme wodurch die Solaranlage sich abgeschaltet hat.

INSTALLED ON ONE OF MY VEHICLES TO INTERRUPT THE POWER FROM THE BATTERY TO EVERYTHINGINCLUDING THE IGNITION... THIS WORKED PERFECTLY AS SOMEONE TRIED TO STEAL MY P/U BUTFAILED TO DO SO AS THEY DID NOT KNOW THE WITCH WAS UNDER THE DRIVER SEAT. THE ONLY WAYTO START THE VEHICLE WAS TO REACH UNDER THE SEAT TO TURN ON THE POWER TO EVERYTHING.I RECOMMEND THIS FOR EVERYONE TO PREVENT AUTO THEFT - WHEN PEOPLE ARE IN SUCH A HURRYTO GRAB AND GO - THEY DO NOT STOP TO THING ABOUT A POWER KILL SWITCH...

I bought this to prevent small current drains from killing the battery on my 25ft travel trailer while it was in storage. Much easier than disconnecting a battery lead each time!The switch is a good, heavy duty design. I wanted to mount it so that I could shut off the battery power from the outside of the battery box. I didn't know if the supplied mounting screws would be long enough. Happily they are. I have a group 27 battery box with a group 24 battery. There was easily enough room to fit the switch inside the box and still fit the battery. The switch fit perfectly through a 2" hole and the supplied screws were long enough to secure it. I used 4 stainless steel washers from the local hardware store to complete the installation. A bead of silicon secured the back cover of the switch to make a nice, waterproof installation.One safety note. If using this on a trailer, it should be in the "off" position ONLY when the trailer is being stored! If you attempt to tow the trailer with it "off" position, two bad things can happen:1. Your tow vehicle can't charge your trailer battery.2. In the event of a trailer separation, the trailer brakes will not come on.
