Soon after I wrote my review below, I was contacted by the seller. They were excellent in their response as I explained what happened and they offered to send me a replacement free of charge. I even offered to send the bad unit back for inspection and evaluation. I only recently got around to installing it and so far I am very pleased. Set up was simple and setting a schedule was breeze. It has only been a few weeks so we’ll see what happens after this summer and a winter outside.Unfortunately I have to give this only one star. I received the transformer this morning and before I even got it installed while I was setting up the WiFi piece, I heard the sound of something frying on the inside and when I looked at it, smoke was coming out of it.Yes, I ensured the polarity of my wires was correct. Put a meter to the wires and did a continuity check so I was 100% sure it was right. Plugged it in, set up the remote and proceeded to configure the WiFi and then it shorted out.Thankfully I did not have it plugged in to the LED lighting otherwise who knows how much more damage could have been done.

Plugged it in to replace my existing outdoor lighting transformer. The unit displays an error and the light dimmly blink. There is no product support and no online articles to follow. Waste of money. Stay away.

Love how it is connected to WiFi remote works well and you can use you phone. The size is great very small compared to my old ones

It works perfectly and is much cheaper than other transformers. Sturdy, easy to install and reliable. It lights up every night at dusk. Very easy to adjust the time the light stays on. That's great.

Can not get app to connect with wifi. Also can not call customer service for help. NO PHONE NUMBER!!!NO WHERE IN DETAILS OR SPECS DOES IT SAY 2.4GHZ ONLY!!!!!!!!!!SHOULD GET REFUND

App was easy to set up and easy to use. I have a outdoor light that I did not have a light switch for. This is the next best thing. Having issues connecting to Amazon but most of the time it is a step I missed.

I am not using this for its intended purpose - lighting. Instead I had an electrical project that I was working on that required a waterproof power supply, with the ability to turn on/off on a timer, huge plus if I can control it remotely. Decided to to this route as it seemed nicer then getting a LED PSU, waterproof project box, timer, and the effort of putting it altogether. Although my use is different, I can say the PSU is working great in providing 12v ~5a while being able to control it remotely.

Works perfectly. I have 10 fixtures about 3Watts each hooked up on a line of about 100ft and this handles it without any issues. It’s slightly more expensive than the 60w regular transformers but it has WiFi capabilities which is why I got it. Setup was really easy. I have it on a timer, and it’s been working without any issues so far. It’s set up in my detached garage, but I haven’t had any WiFi issues with it. Great value overall.

The app for this transformer refused to recognize that Bluetooth was turned on in my phone (a Samsung S23). As a result, it refused to connect with the transformer.First, it should be pointed out that no where in the description or included instructions does it ever mention Bluetooth is required. But Bluetooth is used to configure the transformer's WiFi setup. So first you have to get the app to recognize that Bluetooth is actually turned on in the phone. Then in Step 3 of the instruction where it mentions "WiFi Pairing" it is actually talking about Bluetooth pairing. You pair your phone with the transformer. Once paired via Bluetooth you can configure the transformer to connect to your WiFi.You can actually just skip the nonsense in the instructions, pair (Bluetooth!) your phone with the transformer , follow the app's instructions for configuring WiFi and then skip to step 5 in the directions and scan the QR Code to add the transformer to the app. Bingo! It suddenly starts working correctly.Potential buyers should also note that this transformer does NOT have a photocell. There is no option to allow it to automatically turn on at sunset or turn off at sunrise. If you want something close to that you have to manually program an on/off schedule with times and adjust it throughout the year as the sunrise/sunset times change.
