I have deck lights powered by a transformer that come on nightly. This was a good replacement or my existing transformer. Lots of power in two separate terminals allowing me to split the power consumption if I ever wanted to add lights elsewhere. The programming is for both terminals so you cannot, as far as I can tell, set different programs to each terminal. I comes with an RF remote which can be handy since it will not need line of sight to the box.Took one star off as it is not certified in Canada so there is a risk there. But I do have it connected to a GFI outlet to ensure the circuit trips in case of a fault.

The 200 Watt low voltage landscape transformer by Anytiti is just what you need to help you power and control your low voltage lighting in your garden, along your driveway, etc. It has a built in timer that you can set up to automatically shut off after 1-12 hours of running time once it is automatically turned on by the built in photocell at dusk. The other option is to use the built in photocell which will turn on your lights at dusk and turn them off at dawn. The third way that you can control your lighting system is utilizing the remote control provided with the unit. So really there is a control setting to suit everyone's needs. it has a built in 3.3" power cord so it needs to be installed close to a source of power. You can also choose to mount the unit on a wooden wall or fence using the included mounting screws should you so desire. It is a heavy unit weighing 6.8 lbs and is made of a metal shell which is corrosion-resistant and should not rust. I highly recommend.

I chose this landscape transformer because our north-facing backyard doesn’t get enough sunlight for solar-powered lights. With 200 watts of output, it easily powers all our LED yard lights. Installation was straightforward—mounting it in a protected spot, connecting the buried wires, and plugging it in. While it’s weather-resistant, I installed it under the deck to shield it from the elements while keeping the display visible and ensuring it gets enough natural light for the automatic functions. The included remote, powered by a 12V 23A battery, is a convenient feature since the mounting location is visible but hard to reach. Overall, this transformer delivers ample power for my landscape lights and performs exactly as needed, which is all I could ask for.

Despite being well packed, it did arrive damaged, but no sign of damage in the packaging, so it was probably put in the box after being dropped or hit. It does work as expected. For weatherproofing, it is designed, from what I can tell, to survive in rain, by the way it is constructed, all openings/connections on the bottom, top piece is solid and covers the sided with overlap, etc.It is NOT UL rated, so if it burns your house down, you may not be able to get your insurance to pay out. Most people are not aware of why you have UL ratings, but they are an independent testing body that ensures products are safe. This does NOT mean this is not safe, it just is not tested as safe. I also believe the construction of this transformer is well done, and it uses a grounded 110v plug as it has a metal housing. Make sure you plug this into a GFI protected outlet.I tested it with just a couple of lights, as the addition of many more will be over the next couple of months. It came on just after sunset, during the beginning of dusk, which is perfect. This unit faces West, so if it is shadowed or East facing it may turn on earlier. The timer worked perfectly. The video link from the QR code is somewhat helpful, but my unit has common, 12V and 14V connections. As long as your lights all support at least 14V, then use common and 14V, otherwise use common and 12V. I'm using 12V until I'm done wiring and I know everything can support the higher voltage. For modern LED lighting, 200W is a very large number of lights. Probably you will get about 40 to 50 lights on this transformer.

I bought this to replace the original transformer that stopped working and it has worked great. I needed to look on line to get information on how to program, the directions that came in the packaging were not very good.

I was really excited to have the opportunity to check out this product. This listing caught my eye as I was in need of replacing a very old (and lesser output) low voltage lighting transformer at my home that was nearly 2 decades old. On the surface, the features of this Anytiti branded unit seemed toreally fit the bill for what I was looking for.The unit arrives well packed and mine was in very good condition. I feel the unit is of average build quality but it seems robust enough for use. However, on close inspection, I have some mixed feelings about this. The unit does not really have any heavy duty weather sealing and the bottom connections are not completely sealed. While this may be adequate in a variety of outdood scenarios, I was left with the impression that this unit should NOT be directly exposed to the elements and have some type of overhang or covering providing an an extra measure of protection from potential water infiltration. Because of this, I have set up my unit on the inside of my garage as opposed to having it directly outside as my old unit was.The general features are impressive for the most part considering the cost of this unit. 200watts handling is more than enough to handle my chain of 32 outdoor low voltage lights of 5 watts each. In general use in the time that I have been trialing this, I have no real complaints in terms of its ability to handle its load as intended. I appreciate the RF remote for the convenience of being able to trigger the unit from inside my home without looking at it. I have used that from between 35 and 55 feet and it works just fine. Now, here is where I really have some mixed feelings about this. I cannot confirm that this product has any UL/CSA safety certifications! I keep thinking about this and this is a bit of a concern to me. I will leave it to you to decide if this is a deal breaker for you personally. At the current listing price of $95 with a $15 coupon, I feel it is decent value for money vs. the features and if I was basing my rating strictly on that, I might give this an overall rating of 4 out of 5. However, due to the overall quality of the weatherproofing I noted and the lack of a UL/CSA rating that I can confirm, I don't feel that I can recommend this.(Some pics to follow at a later date)

ANYTITI 200W Low Voltage Landscape Transformer,Low Voltage Transformer with TimerWe got this unit to replace another whose relay had stopped working. The unit arrived in a nicely packaged box, so no risk of damage in transit. Once out of the box, the unit’s appearance and build quality is good, and designed the same as other transformers made for functionality and protection against the elements. There was a QR code in the box that users can scan to show you a Youtube video on how to install the transformer on to an exterior wall and attach the low voltage wire to the two different power leads on the bottom, which is helpful. Unfortunately there are no other formal instructions in the box. The unit’s installation is actually fairly intuitive and it also comes with a small template you can put on the wall so you know exactly were to drill. Very nice of them to include that. As for instructions on how to use the unit, there is no instruction booklet, but there is a sticker on the side of the unit that explains the settings nicely. There are 13 settings that are easy to choose with the buttons on the front of the unit. There are 12 settings that are in increments from 1 to 12 hours, and a third that is an auto setting that uses the photovoltaic sensor to determine when to turn on at dusk and when to turn off at dawn. Then of course the last 2 settings of on or off. I have tested the auto feature and it works perfectly. It turns the unit on just as the sunlight is diminishing but not gone and the same in the morning but for turning off. The unit also comes with a remote control that allows you to change the settings from a distance, or in my case, from inside my house through a window near the location of the transformer. I have tried from inside my house from about 15 feet away and it works perfectly. Overall, this is a very nice unit for the price point and has worked perfectly for the month I have been using it.

The ANYTITI brand 200 W low-voltage landscape transformer is a midrange power pack ready to anchor your choice of outdoor lighting luminaires. This device is the latest offering from a brand that specializes in low-voltage transformers and is new to Amazon in August 2024.Let’s start off with a look at some of the many good things happening here. The first is the current price point of $95 and a coupon for a further $15 off. This places the present unit under review as the lowest cost 200 W transformer among its peers. However, this unit delivers additional benefits not found on transformers from the leading brand and others. The first extra is an included remote control for managing on/off, timer, auto/manual functions. Another extra is the dual 100 Watt terminals on the back of the unit. This feature is especially appreciated by anyone contemplating running more than one 12 V feeder line and facilitates easier and more secure connections between the transformer and 12 V output lines.Another positive to this reviewer is the substantial almost 7 pound weight of this device, heavier than peer products. The major source of weight in the transformer are the copper coils inside the box. The heavier weight is indicative of increased copper content. This reviewer has had the pleasure of designing and building several low-voltage outdoor landscape lighting systems since the 1980s and has greatly enjoyed the incredible advances in the quality, variety, energy efficiency, and related benefits during this time. Installing low-voltage lighting is both easy and extremely gratifying as the rewards are extremely tangible and instantaneous. Here at the tree farm home base, we use a regular 4 inch deep edger to push out shallow subcutaneous type trenches in the lawn turf, gently insert suitable gauge copper low-voltage cable, stomp the turf back in place and presto-ready to install an assortment of low-voltage luminaires. Unlike regular 110 V household power, low-voltage current is so negligible that we leave the transformer powered on during the install process to receive instant feedback that joints, connections, and fixtures are working properly. There is no danger of electrocution or shocking. We greatly enjoy low-voltage landscape lighting and currently have 6 transformers and more than 100 fixtures in place bringing the forest and other landscape highlights to life after the sun goes down. We have already put this transformer to temporary use powering a pair of 7.5 Watt 12 V floodlights illuminating an inflatable Christmas display overlooking a 40 foot circular pond and fountain. The miniature transformer powering the inflatable quit working, but luckily, the blowup is also 12 V so we cut and spliced the wires into the second input terminal of the 200 Watt transformer and presto, the inflatable is happily up and running properly once again, saving it from a journey to the landfill. The verdict:The ANYTITI brand 200 W low-voltage landscape transformer is a midrange power pack ready to anchor your choice of outdoor lighting luminaires. This new kid on the block transformer is the lowest price 200 Watt option available currently on the Amazon storefront, yet has additional features and benefits not found on peer products. An overall product score of 5/5 is assigned accordingly.
