I hardwired the 120 VAC into my pool timer/lights electrical box into the same circuit breaker as the pool lights, then mounted it below the box. It looks very clean. I have it set to on-at-dusk and off at 2330 for both zones. The light sensor works perfectly and dependably. It also holds all settings in case of a power interruption including the time so you never have to reprogram it unless you want to change it. The mounting hardware is super convenient as it slides onto the mounting piece and gravity keeps it in place, not screws. I have zone 1 controlling 10 RGBW SUNVIE spots that shine up on my vinyl fence in the center of each section. Then I have another 6 on zone 2 shining into a stand of palm trees. I absolutely love this thing. I even find the lack of Alexa/Google Home control to be fine. In my timed application I don't need that anyway.

This transformer has great features. It has 5 program methods and I was particular interested and wanted it to go on at Dusk and off at a particular set time. Works great and has 2 zones for setting up different programs. Easy to install and setup. Very good price compared to other 300W transformers.

This transformer is great. I was able to use it to power up my lights in the front yard and backyard. The transformer is very easy to install. You are able to program it based on times or sunset to sundown. You can control two zones independently. Would highly recommend this brand. Their customer support is very helpful as well.

I used to put colored cells on my 20-year old landscaping lights during the holidays, but the effort to do so combined with the age of the lights and transformers made it harder each year as they became less reliable, especially the transformer with a non-functional timer and random shutdown.SO - right before Halloween, I replaced everything with Sunvie landscape lights, added pathlights, and of course a new 300W transformer.First of all, they are simple to install: the transformer mounts easily, and as long as you have an electric screwdriver for the 3 screws per landscape light, a utility knife to separate the power cable, and a willingness to screw on many caps, you can have 10 lights up in a little over an hour, start to finish. It took about 3 hours total to do the 8 pack of landscape lights and 12 pack of path lights, plus the transformer.Next, they look great. Both the whites and the colored LEDs are bright, the short and long range controllers work exactly as advertised to allow individual customization. I used the 2 zones on the transformer to separate the path lights from the spotlights and the timers to set up different schedules. My only warning is that you should probably use 14 gauge wire - I used 12 and it made twisting on some of the caps just a little bit difficult because there wasn't much space to get them started. Still, 12 worked fine, I just had to give my fingers a rest after screwing off and then back on the sum total of 68 little caps, at least half of them with the wire fighting me the whole way.Last, I saw in some reviews that they received dead lights; every light in my set worked properly the first time. Could not be happier with this purchase.

The unit showed up quickly and the box was pretty shredded. I suspect the weight of it has something to do with that. But, the transformer showed no damage...and who cares how much it weighs (except the shipper)? The connectors and timing options are straightforward. There are a couple of ways to mount it and the remote photocell is a nifty idea. You can mount the unit in one spot and run the light sensor several feet away.I didn't test the power draw versus the output, but 200W can go quite far with LED lighting.Overall, it's a solid-feeling transformer with a number of nice options to fit a variety of different requirements.
