Installed this and it worked fine at first, but after about 3 months I noticed one of the lights was off. Turned out that one of the two ports on this per supply was dead. It was only powering two lights, it was installed inside a waterproof box, and it was never touched again after the initial installation. Meanwhile the genuine Phillips power supply is powering six lights and is exposed to the elements but it's working just fine.

This worked for less than a year and then failed. Save your money just buy the real thing from Phillips.

So I have a ton of outdoor hue lights. Like probably 40. I have a a few of the 95w power supplies. For some reason, after about 2 years, one of the hue power supplies wouldnβt power a section at full power anymore. I had lights that wouldnβt turn on.Found this when buying a replacement and itβs great. Saved a bunch of money and have all my lights on now.

I got this to power string lights over our garage doors. The idea was to route them out a junction box for a security camera. This would add some of the length and keep the cord out of the way.It accomplishes this task very well! Thereβs no issues powering my lights, and Iβm able to route the cords with ease. I particularly appreciated the fact that the power brick has holes for screw-mounting. I was able to mount it on a rafter as you can see.This is an excellent value and a great way to expand the possibilities of your outdoor hue lights!

When my outdoor connection was damaged, I was afraid I would have to start with a new system. This connection was more affordable and worked perfectly out of the box. No to keep those electric trimmers away.
