How to Choose the Low Voltage Transformer?
- Calculate the total wattage of all light fixtures in your plan.
- Choose the transformer that is large enough to support the total wattage you need.
- The transformer wattage load (total watts needed for your fixtures) recommended within 80% of the rated capacity of the transformer.
For example: if you have 10 pack 5W LED landscape lights, so the total wattage is 50W. Then recommend to choose the transformer higher than 40W(=50W/0.8)

- This product does not include landscape lights and wire.
- Although it is IP65 waterproof design, but do some waterproof measures will help to extend the service life.

I bought this to run my LED yard lights and flag pole lights. It works great. The LEDs are brighter running on this DC power supply than they were running on my old AC yard light power supply I was using.

The unit was very price attractive and it worked great for three weeks. However, after three weeks, it started flickering on and off during the night and then after a couple of nights, it would not turn on at all.

This transformer replaced a Malibu timer that I had been using for 30+ years. It finally bit the dust. The old system had its own incandescent lights that would burn out a lot and were hard to install. First, I replaced the lights about five years ago with Zuckeo LED lights which were easy to install and have worked great. The old transformer, which was large and heavy, had an electro-mechanical clock. Every time the power went out (which it does frequently when we have thunderstorms) I would have to manually reset the clock when the power came back on. Also, had to manually reset for DST changes. When the Malibu died, it was a no-brainer to order this one from Amazon. I mounted it on the front porch where the old transformer was located, attached the cable that leads to all the lights, plugged it in, pushed the "on-at-dusk, off-at-dawn" button and I'm done. I've only had it for a week but it's working perfectly so far.

I only have one LED light using this transformer. It lights my American flag up at night. I have been using this power supply for about 6 months now and it comes on at dusk and shuts off at dawn. It is a small power supply and work great.

Mine is mounted to a surface that is shaded by trees all day. As such I've found that the on/off behavior can be erratic. Thus far (2 weeks of use in August) I've found that it sometimes turns on in the daytime, which I believe is related to the shaded location--the light sensor thinks it's dusk when it's not.I may have to relocate it to a spot that gets more lightFYI

this transformer is perfect for the lighting i am doing,i like the timer,and the ease it is to set.compact size is also a good option.and most of all the price was great.and to have the timer instructions on the back is very helpful.
