The "PM" LED light doesn't work on my unit, which made the programming difficult to figure out. Once I realized the issue I got it programmed. Not annoying enough to return, and except for that, unit is running fine, turning on and off at the designated times. It comes with a light sensor, but this is tucked away behind hard scaping and the lead is pretty short, so it won't work in my case. I got this at a good discount, so it is okay value for the money.

This transformer is well constructed and has numerous features. It is easy to mount and make connections to your LV lighting. The fixed timers and the dusk to dawn feature are easy to setup and are reliable even after power failures. I have tested this unit with both incandescent and LED light successfully. One feature that would make this unit even more versatile is networking capability. Being able to include this device as a component of โsmartโ home systems would be very beneficial to most โmodernโ homes.PROS:โข Two independent Lines for individual lighting stringsโข Optical Sensor is accurate and replaceableโข Optical sensor comes with a long cord allowing the power unit to mounted inside and the light sensor outsideโข Large, bright display. Easy to see from a distanceโข Retains programming after power outagesโข Built-in resettable breakerโข Accurate timer and time change capabilityโข Product instruction manual includedCONS:โข No networking capabilityโข Transform is only 12V, not 24V which helps in longer runs (driveways, etc.)โข No output voltage/wattage monitor (requires multimeter to test/monitor)This is a quality product and a reasonable price.Five stars for me

This transformer is excellent for my garden lights. The timer and photocell sensor work perfectly, and itโs durable enough to handle outdoor conditions. A great addition to my setup.

Still getting it wired up officially in the garage, but I wired all the landscape path lights to it prior to getting the install going and it works exactly as it should. The timing features and photocell work and are super easy to setup.I'm using the 12v line, but it also has a 14v option which is nice. And at 300W, it will handle a ton of 5w lights. It claims to be waterproof, but I'm installing it in my garage, so I won't have to worry about that aspect of it, but that is a pretty nice feature too if you wanted to install it outside and keep it a bit simpler of an install.Overall, I am happy with this and would recommend it to others to get for their home's landscape lights.

This is a big transformer and weighs a lot. While it has a 300 watt output per the directions you should only operate at 80% which leaves you with 240 actual watts for lights. The screen is bright but a little hazy and the buttons have a nice click when pressed. The screen is bright but goes to sleep after a couple minutes. Mounting the unit is straightforward, there is a single bracket you mount and the unit slides onto it. One thing I donโt like is the connections are in the back so if you are mounting it on a wall you need to take it off to access the back connectors. That being said once you have your main wires connected you donโt need to access the connectors much anymore. The light sensor has a very long cord allowing you to place it outside and comes with a mounting clip. Overall I loved the simplicity and power this unit provided.

Arrived very fast and in great packaging. It was super easy to install and setup. It can be hanged on outdoor wall and connect to AC outlet with 6 ft long cable.I used it in back yard for outdoor lighting and I used to start at evening on dark and turn off after 6 hoursYou can have it setup for three different mode and has ample capacity for 300 watt to cover several lights which are all LED now.So far it works so great and no issues with lighting. It also has very elegant look and made solid with metal body.It can be installed indoor or outdoor. It is weatherproof and will last for years.

This is the ONE! I've tried others, but this one seems to fend off the weather better than most. It has a rating of 300 watts, and that is what it puts out; consistently and steady. I like that it has a dedicated hanger plate that attaches directly to the wall. This makes installation so much easier than other models! In addition, it has two taps for each application. For example, you could install this on the side of the house and run one wire to the front of the house, and the other wire to the back. Also, the controller functions well to be able to set it to a variety of settings including 'Dusk-To-Dawn,' or 'Photo Eye' setting. Of course, it has a 'Manual On' for testing the installation, and it allows setting a specific time of day for automatic operation in timer mode.NOICE!The Verdict:You can't beat this for efficient, dependable low-voltage lighting systems.
