Works great. Easy to set up and use. I set this up temporarily with an extension cord just to test it out. Worked very well. I have it set to come one dusk to dawn. Its been working for a week now so next I will set up its own power source and remove the extension cord.

Took unit out of box and heard a bunch of loose stuff inside. Removed cover and all but one cover mounts found broken. Only 1 of 6 screws were holding cover to base. I’m a manufacturing engineer and it looks like cover screws were over torqued and broke the shoulder at the bottom of the counterbored holes in the cover. Or poor quality plastic used in cover. Box was in perfect shape so it wasn’t dropped.

Bought 2 of these 120W units. Easy to install. About 2 weeks later 1 of the units malfunctioned. Contacted customer support and they sent a replacement unit out free of charge and it arrived in 2 days. Despite the malfunction, I gave the product 5 stars since it is a heavy duty unit that is easy to program and has great customer support.

I installed the device: very easy. Works great. Setup is a little cumbersome. Has many feature. It would be nice with today technology to add a WiFi and Google home link to allow control and setup from the phone.

I've had several brands of transformers over the years, from the cheap ones that just do dawn to dusk to more elaborate 300w transformers. Usually you get what you get, but I was surprised that the timer I had in front of the house that just died was a Portfolio timer I got about 12 years ago! Did a great job every day for a lot longer than I expected. To replace that one, I got a GOODSMANN 120w with timer and sensor because I already had one and it's been fine, (except for the fact that it's very heavy and has a cheap-cheap-cheap housing that almost completely fell apart once after a short drop to the ground.) The Goodsman that I got last week was fine except for the buttons for the timer --- they are so HARD. I forgot how tough it was to simply hold down a couple of buttons to set the timer, but the buttons on the new one were much tougher than the one I already had. It was really stupid-hard how difficult it was just to set the time, so I sent it back and got another one. The buttons on the second one were better, but the clock didn't work! My lights were on all night and late into the next day before I realized they never turned off properly! So returned the Goodsman and got a DEWENWILS. They seem to have a good rep and I got one with a steel shell and an app to configure it! An app! I thought this was going to be the most awesome thing ever! It's not. Nobody in this line of products makes a good app. I couldn't get the thing to connect to my Wifi except once ---- after I got it connected, I took it out to install it and apparently that's enough to make the device completely forget all its settings. Unable to get it to reconnect to the Wifi after that, so after a couple hours of trying, I sent it back, too.It shouldn't be this difficult! So I got this Sunvie, and I've used some of their other lighting accessories before, so they seemed like a good choice. This model is heavy, but the casing on it is solid and everything can be done with a very easy and logical button setup on the front. In about 10 minutes, w/o looking at the setup directions, I managed to get the clock set and the timers set. Took it outside and installed it and it ran smoothly last night. Just like that! Imagine something as simple as a lighting timer taking just a few minutes to logically setup and get hooked up outside! The clock works, the timer works, the buttons are quite easy to manage, the settings for other functions are easy to figure out, it's got a sturdy mounting option AND the power cord is longer than the others! And for about the same amount of $$$ I can have 12v and 14v lights connected! When my other Goodsman timer breaks, and it will, I'm getting another one of these. Just made smarter and better than the others.

I picked up the 120w transformer. Well made, easy to operate, but mine went on the fritz when I installed it. I had waited 6 months before installing it. I reached out to support and they replaced the unit easily and quickly. I recommend this product, great support.

This was one of the few transformers that will operate with incandescent and halogen light sources. Most of the new transformers are specific for LED lighting. So that's what drew me to this model. It allows for two separate zones of lighting control which is an added bonus. The programing instructions are not as intuitive as I would have expected.....but with some trial and error and rereading the instructions everything works as expected. It allows for a multitude of operations, and the one I am using is the dusk to a set turn off time. It is working great after one month of operation. The real test will be how it survives Arizona heat in the summer because it is mounted on a south facing wall. If anything fails it's due to extreme heat.....and it will get it this summer. Stay tuned.

I like that you could set them up on a timer and I didn't have to use solar power. I use them on my landescaping lights. They are working really good for me and I'm happy I brought them. They light up my house good. The are the right ideas for your landscape. The were a good value for my money.
