This hole bit, which included an arbor and several drill bits for the arbor, is a great value. With minimal effort using a portable 18V drill, I was able to cut a perfect hole for a ceiling light fixture.

I don’t use a hole saw often, which is why I chose this particularly priced saw to cut three holes instead of spending $30-$60 on one bit. I tried using this bit for the first time today to cut through a 2 x 6 pressure-treated piece of lumber. I don’t think it made it a half inch through before it started to really struggle. I gave it two stars for the hopes that it may do better on soft wood like pine or poplar. This is not for Pressure treated and hardwoods like oak and Walnut. Actually, I would assume if you’re cutting through expensive hardwoods, you wouldn’t choose this bit anyway.

The first one I had got jammed and broke. Amazon replaced the item and the second one has been working well. Pretty sharp teeth. Cuts fast.

I used this on 3/4 plywood and it cut like a dream and the plug that was drilled immediately popped out when done. Great bit for the price!

It drilled the shower valve hole i needed in the concrete board. I'm sure it could do several more if needed, but at this price I could buy 3 of these vs 1 at a box store.

The hex shank pilot drill bit adapter and the hole saw both have a multi-metal structure that gives the impression of being sturdy and well built. It instilled in me the confidence that this instrument was constructed to endure, even when subjected to the most difficult materials. The cutting depth of 1 5/8 inches made it possible for me to generate holes that were both clean and precise without any difficulty. By ensuring a tight grip and minimizing wobbling while the drill bit was in operation, the hex shank pilot drill bit adapter made it possible to achieve cleaner cuts and reduced the likelihood of any accidents occurring. In my opinion, the hole saw has a design that has been well considered. My project was a great fit for the three-inch size, and the pilot drill bit ensured that the first hole placement was accurate. While designing this equipment, it is clear that the producers took into consideration the requirements of do-it-yourselfers like myself.
