Worked pretty well to cut pot light holes in the basement ceiling. Contained the dust and only made a small mess.

As an electrician I am installing a lot of recessed lights. This dust catcher works great. It makes a seal against ceiling and catches all the dust. Just install it between drill chuck and hole saw and drill away.

These work great. I'm cutting 10" holes with a 10" whole saw for ceiling speakers, and these things actually catch all of the dust. No dissapointments

It’s nice to be able to place this flexible dish on the ceiling, then pull down and edge to make sure your drill is centered where you need it. The silicone makes a good dust, free seal as you drill and the flex of the ball allows you to smoothly push the drill upward. 1000%better than the plastic dish included with the Klein hole cutting tool. Just make sure you keep it someplace where it won’t be deformed. Otherwise the silicone takes on that deformed shape. It will spring back after a few days, however.
