As advertised. It comes out in a very nice consistency. Good quality 3M. So far this is my favorite. I wish they made it in other colors: clear and black.

Worked perfectly for caulking the top and bottom of the rub rail and the windscreen frame on my boat. I recommend masking the area you want to apply it and remove the masking right after you finish shaping the caulk into the seam.

This stuff saves the day even if applied underwater. But do wear nitrile gloves as it will seal to your hands for awhile. That just proves it’s a great sealant!

This is an excellent product overall. While marketed as a marine sealant, it can be used in other applications where a waterproof, UV resistant seal is needed. I previously used this to seal around mounting brackets for solar panels on an RV roof. Now, I am removing dicor sealant around vents and other openings on the roof and using this instead. Based on my experience with it around the solar panel mounts, it seems to be far superior to dicor and similar products sold as roof sealant. It sets up quickly and acts as both a sealant and an additional bonding agent. I suspect it is strong enough to hold the solar panels by itself (I used VHB tape as well). The only downside I have found is it does not keep its shiny white appearance over time; it gradually turns dull aand yellowish, but as long as you use it where the appearance does not matter it is a great product.

I really like this sealant for external joints on my RV. It seems to last long, just the right amount of adhesion and it's a nice white and doesn't appreciably yellow (like their 4200 sealant does), although it can get dirt stuck to it (unavoidable, I think). But the last time I used this smaller tube, it was difficult to squeeze out the small bead without the benefit of a caulking gun. I bought another for small touch-up work and save money over the caulk gun size; but last time, I swore I'd never buy this size again because the squeezing effort was just too much. I haven't opened and used this one yet. Maybe there was a problem with the first instance, but I doubt it. I expect to regret buying this size again (because of the squeezing effort), when I finally use it.
