Very good, but hard to open , if you have arthritis. My recommendation to the company id shorter screws & use kepnuts that have a built in washer. The nuts keep coming loose. You need loctite on the screws.

Good solution to secure your existing trash containers. Only thing is the screws are pretty long and will rip plastic bags open, I ended up getting shorter ones and even flipped those around so the round heads were on the inside.

There are so many brands out there. There are less expensive ones that do the same thing. These you have to drill holes in your trash cans so be sure your trash company (if they supply the cans) are ok with it. Although the holes are small, it's still penetrating the can so just make sure. The straps are a deterrent, yes... However, they were no match for the bears in my daughter's neighborhood and they were able to bust right through them. (Literally broke the clips). I would have preferred if it came with a cap or something for the INSIDE of the can so that your bags didn't get snagged on the way in or out. More hassle than they are worth. Unfortunately, if you live in a wildlife prone area, I would suggest trying to find other solutions... maybe sprays to deter bears? :(
