Gauges show well and look professional. The LED lighting is superb. The varied colors are helpful & attractive. These worked out great for me. At first I was disappointed in the Plastic bracketing, but as it turned out they all worked fine + the ammeter required no isolation because the plastic is a non-conductor of electricity.

The terminals in this ammeter literally melted with 30 amp charge going through it. The needle was sticky and had to tap it to get it to read. The bottom of the gauge melted out from the plastic housing. Fortunately, it was on a tractor and I was present when it happened. I got about 1/2 hour use from it.

My tractor sits outdoors, so every few years I have to replace a gauge or two. I decided to try this ammeter based on the price and decent reviews. At first glance, it is obviously not in the same class as the Faria gauge it replaces, but it seems to work for now, and costs less, although that is debatable in the long run if you pay someone else to work on your stuff. Just understand what you are getting before you order.—Needle not zeroed, and no way to adjust—Bezel crimp noticeably loose, so there is no chance of water resistance—Supplied hardware is steel, not brass

This was used to replace the original ammeter in a Cockshutt 40 tractor manufactured in 1958. It was an actual plug and play into a 65 year old machine. Looks good in there too.
