Seems accurate enough as long as changes in current are substantial. With small changes of a few amps the needle sticks slightly and one must tap on the glass to get it to settle to the correct value.This would probably be just fine in a vehicle where the constant vibration would keep the needle moving, but in stationary applications don't trust it for closer than +- 10 amps without giving it a smack.
