Nice thermometer for pool, it’s not battery powered like it says in ad, that almost didn’t make me buy it, that should be removed from ad, it’s easy to read has nice long string attached, floats around since it’s very lightweight,great value for money the size is perfect, the alligator design is very nice, just throw in pool and that’s it.

The temperature float for our inground pool turned out to be a bit smaller than I initially anticipated, but it works wonderfully! Its compact design is actually quite advantageous. The float is well-constructed and highly effective in measuring the water temperature with precision.One thing to note is that because the gator-shaped float is small, it can be easily nudged or turned sideways by the slightest ripple or a gentle wave from rain. Despite this minor issue, it doesn't compromise its performance, as it quickly reorients itself once the water calms down.Overall, this temperature float is a fantastic addition to our pool setup. Its small size doesn't hinder its performance and it's both reliable and efficient. Whether you're just checking on your pool's status or trying to maintain the perfect water conditions, this little device does the job excellently!

The inside thermometer liquid piece broke off within six weeks, so the thermometer can't be used. However, the seller was very accommodating and helpful in offering a replacement or getting us a refund. Thank you so much!

I purchased this item in July. By October, the inner glass tube that holds the mercury broke free from the temperature scale and was rattling around loose inside the outer plastic tube. As a result, we could not tell what the water temp was. It was too late to return it. I had to throw it away. I would not recommend this product.

have only used it a couple of times... seemed off at first, but after a few minutes, the temp was the same... so I guess it was fairly accurate
