I installed the XtremepowerUS 19" sand filter in my pump-house for my 16,000 gallon pool. I should have returned it as soon as I realized it was built upside down and backwards and obviously poorly made. But I needed the pool up and running. It worked okay for about 30 days then developed a leak in the inlet casting as shown on the attached photo. It's past the warranty and/or return date so my next purchase will be for flex seal tape to fix the leak. Save yourself the headache and buy something a little more well-built.

Pretty good deal. It looks well made and works well. It is a much better deal than some of the larger name brands.

The sand filter is the perfect size for my hot tub if it's perfectly in a small space. It is built of good quality and the price was very reasonable. It functions good and is set up easily.

We have an above ground pool and had a smaller sand filter attached. Bought this as a replacement it was a lot bigger but it’s perfect it keeps the pool a lot cleaner which has in turn cut cost on our chemical use. Wish I would have done this a long time ago. Live and learn as they say.

UPDATE:Corresponded with the seller who sent a return label and will issue a refund. Resolved quickly and efficiently. I'm ordering a replacement from this company and as soon as it arrives so I can transfer the sand, I will have it returned.I purchased this filter at the end of April '23. Didn't get it installed until mid May. I noticed water around the stand but attributed it to splashing from inside of the pool. I only realized there was a problem when water got high enough in the stand to come out of the drain hole. I've messaged the supplier and now I wait. If they resolve the problem satisfactorily, I will edit this review to reflect that.
