Have used sand for years.saw them on Amazon. thought I would try them.WOW worked better than sand any day. Can reuse. Eazy to clean. I used the washing machine and dryer ready for next year. quality great and price. Will not regret buying them

Works wonderful with the filter. Easy to use. Very easy to clean. And does not weigh a ton when in filter. Kept water clean all summer when using this is our filter. Would recommend!

The quality of these little guys is top notch! Very well made and seem to be doing their job. Haven't had them long enough to see about cleaning them but I'm very happy when them. Definitely worth the price.

Worked great for about the 1st week or two. Water was crystal clear, although I thought it was strange that water also seemed clean/clear when backwashing. Pool steadily got greener/cloudier despite anything I tried. Opened up filter today to switch back to sand so we can use pool this year and the balls and water inside the tank were disgusting, despite nothing coming out when backwashing. I had high hopes for eco friendly filtration, but need a product that gives quality results so I guess I’m back to the tried and true sand filtration.

I use filter balls in filter which work great. I just bought robotic vacuum which does not pick up dirt well I put some in the basket of the robotic vac and now it filters while it vacuums

I decided to try these in a backwashing air over media house iron and sulfur filter (well water). They seem to work very well though they are definitely not tested for this application. I still used a lesser amount of the usual manganese dioxide with these balls, which is very expensive these days.
