Update: the seller has reached out to send replacement parts. The parts arrived and the fountain works perfectly! 5/5 recommendI bought this because it has a large capacity. I got tired of filling the smaller ones on a regular basis. However, the fountain part did not click together well, so I taped it together. In addition, the motor/pump was inoperable. I pulled one from the smaller fountain we have but it isn't an exact fit.So large capacity... amazing!Pump didn't work... but the seller sent a brand new one!

Bought this for a golden retriever and 2 cats. I've had it for about 2 months, and everything is working as it should be. The directions say to clean the entire assembly/pump parts every 2 weeks, which is very easy to do. I'd recommend buying a small straw brush for the straw-like parts to really clean out those pieces.Also, the pump noise isn't noticeable except for late at night when everything else is quiet. Even then, it's a quiet hum.One thing to note- if you have a dog with long hair, you may have to wipe the front drain holes of the bowl more frequently than washing the assembly. The hairs tend to get tangled in the holes and keep the top from draining down into the reservoir. I think I clear it every week or so.

I haven’t even had this product up and running for a full day and already can see the difference! Usually I’ve had to clean the water bowl out about 3 times already and the water is still crystal clear! My cats love the fountain, and even my big messing drinking dogs are not only drinking more but it’s also cutting down on the mess. It holds more than a gallon, it makes absolutely no noise that I can hear and I notice any noise. Wish I would have gotten this sooner!

Very nice & easy to put together! I had bought a different brand, who's selling points was the "locking" of the water bowl. I couldn't get it unlocked and it had lots of small "sponges" and stuff in there. Returned. This was so easy to put together! Very nice & quiet. I would actually love if this made a bigger "splash" sound, b/c that was one of the things I loved about the old "drinkwell" I had.Its seems the light shows only on the R side but on the pics here, seems to show the L? Anywaywas super easy to put together & use. This Water/bowl fountain seems like it will be pretty easy to clean & reset up, had clear & concise instructions & was "Barney Simple" to put together. I like that.So while I was transitioning, I had to use the traditional "water bowl" and my Dog didn't care for it,at all. THEY prefer the "Running" water! They do!All in all this is very nice, I love the light on there & just seems like a very nice "running water" type of bowl that dogs prefer.Bought this in Dec. worked great until now FEB pump burned out? I'm not seeing a replacement pump for this thing?

Locating this near a plug could be an issue for some people.Runs very quiet; easy set up and cleaning it is a breeze. We have a water filtration system w/osmosis so we get no scale buildup but it is easy to clean if you don’t have one.Comes with a second charcoal filter which is nice.Dog (and cat) took right to it.You do need to monitor the water level daily to keep it above minimum level. Also, in a power outage the pets will NOT have access to the water as the pump keeps the drinking bowl part of the unit full.

I’ve loved having a water fountain for my pets the past 10 or so years.. but this one was a new brand for my pets, and I loved how much water it could hold!! My last two fountains held only a third of the water this one did! And I had to add water 3-4 times a day with out Mini Ausie, Flame Tipped Siamese and other Cat! Ordered Sept 11- Fountain’s motor died Nov 1.. only a few days past the eligible return date! True the motor was quiet, even when it would work! The little time we were able to use it, I never let water level drop to see it light for low water level would work? If this company continues to sale this product, the least they could do is add a replacement motor we could buy, made by a different company, that manufacture a more dependable long lasting motor! Now that the fountain is useless, I’m going to also have to throw away the 12 filters I bought, like a big dummy, not waiting to make sure that this fountain held up long enough to even use ONE Filter I ALSO LOST $ for! Single mom who makes $9,000 a year, budgets budgets because dead beat dad/ex =zero help! Zero help from State Food Stamps, Electric, nothing! I won’t ever ask for help from Gov as long as I see others who do without more than my kids and I… SO when I save up for months to purchase a bday gift for myself for my kids pets, I EXCPECT TO GET A LITTLE USE OUT OF IT BECAUSE THAT $50 is a LOT OF MONEY TO SOMEONE WHO IS BELOW THE NATIONAL POVERTY LEVEP.. for someone in the middle class income bracket, me spending $50 (plus $ for filters) on a product would = $5,000 spent on a product! Now u can see why I’m so upset over “just $50” !?!?!?!?!?!?! 😭 😢 💔 Guess I’ll wait till next year’s bday and see if I can afford a new pet fountain! Amazon should seriously consider holding higher standards for sellers!!!! considering how many small local businesses are closing the doors in bankruptcy, since their previous customers are now preferring to shop the easier, cheaper (FOR NoW) convenience of their desktop at work, their phones while soaking in the tub, or watching TV in the recliner at night.. BUT mainly because their customers have to trust that Amazon only sells good products ONLY! Who even realizes if a product is a Amazon or third party product?? AND as far as most people are concerned, we aren’t shopping online at “Third Party Merchandise” Site, we are shopping in Amazon!!!! If you’ve already been suckered into purchasing one of these, I truly truly hope u have better luck than myself, and get more than one month use out of it

The filter does not allow water to flow through fast enough.Water backs up in top tray and overflows.We soaked the filter ahead of time as directed.
