I absolutely LOVE this water fountain for my three cats. I have tried a cheap plastic one from Walmart, a bigger ceramic one from Chewy, and then a big one gallon stainless steel one from Chewy. Every single one of these bowls were such a hassle to clean with crevices you can't get to or plastic parts and the ceramic or stainless steel ending up receiving a biofilm from the cats. Granted I've only had this fountain for a week, and I will update it if anything changes, however so far this is amazing. The ingenuity of using wireless power to operate the pump is probably one of the greatest features alone. I didn't think much of it when I made my purchase, but not having to fiddle with running the cord properly from the bowl to the outlet is just a God send. This fountain holds 3L of water, which is not too far from a gallon of water. The nice thing about this fountain is the majority of the water is enclosed where no dust, bugs, or any debris will get into the water. The stainless steel water dish has a non stick coating and is a shallow dish. Which is very nice to help prevent water from getting filthy and the dish easy to clean preventing biofilm build up. The fact that this fountain has an app to help track how often your pets are using the fountain is just amazing. It has a lot of different modes and when you run it purely on the battery you can set how often the water circulates and also turn on sensor mode so when your cat comes to drink it cycles the water. This water fountain also comes with, and I know this sounds weird to be excited about, but a really well made pipe cleaner with tweezers at the other end. After a week, I tool it apart to clean and it only took a few short minutes and I was so impressed to see very little hair in the main water reservoir. I can't say enough great things and I hope the days, weeks, months, and years to come this fountain will continue to serve me well. One more note, PetKit also sells a pump that sterlizes water using UV. I'm definitely going to be upgrading my pump after this great experience.

To keep it short and sweet, I changed my cat's water out for years, and sometimes would forget for a day. He would still drink the water, but when I would change it I felt like crap because it was icky water. Now? Totally different situation. The replacement filters are cheap, the replacement filters for the water pump are cheap, and the quality of the product is ANYTHING BUT cheap. Super high quality fountain, my cat LOVES IT, and changing the water each week is super easy. I love the battery option, but honestly I just leave it plugged in all the time and my cat is in heaven! The app is super intuitive and works like a dream! It's fantastic and worth every penny!

This fountain is amazing! I've tried a stainless steel water fountain before, and it would have rubber parts that would turn moldy, and the filter did not do its job.With this one though, even though I was iffy on the whole plastic part, it does not leave water stains, does not mold, and the water on the inside is ALWAYS clean (meaning the filter does its job)! I love that it'll send me notifications when the water is low, and the supply of water lasts my pet two weeks (he drinks a lot of water). Would recommend this brand! I want to try the food dispensers next

It's a bit tall imo for a cat. It is a simple design but I feel it's a bit bulky. I have 3 cats and a dog. They are 8lb, 10lb, and 14lb for the cats and 40lb for the dog. Crepe, my smallest cat, has an awkward time drinking out of it I have noticed. I wish there were more color options as the white appearance clashes with the aethetic in my home, but what're you going to do?I thought the small reservoir on top would be too small for my dog, we keep an extra regular bowl out for her, but she honestly loves the fountain more than the cats do! It's nice being able to know everyone is drinking water but it's too bad you can't tell who is drinking water.The app works well and I like that you get both a light on the fountain and an app notification to alert you when water is low, filter needs changing, battery is low or any other potential problem. I will say, getting it connected to the app was a pain. I have a number of products from this brand and this was my first time having to contact support. They were very helpful and patient. The fountain wouldn't connect to the app despite several attempts. I eventually had my partner download the app and lo and behold! It wouldn't connect bc it needed an update. Other than app issues, it was an Easy set up.I haven't noticed any noise with the fountains either. The motor is soundless! The wireless pump and the fact you can remove the battery/reservoir from the base makes the whole design feel a lot safer.Overall, I do feel this product was worth the money. It has a large reservoir so I don't have to refill as often, multiple ways of alerting and reminding, and I can keep track of my pets drinking habits. If you can get past the difficult set up process, it's a win for me.

This is a perfect water fountain for my 75-pound dog who temporarily developed psychogenic polydipsia & polyuria (drinking a ton of water and peeing excessively, with no medical cause/ illness) after a neuter surgery later in life. Because the fountain allows me to not run the water continuously (I chose to leave the water flow on for 2 minutes and then off for 45 minutes from 6am to 11pm daily), I was able to cure his condition and surprised the vet with his recovery! Before I made this purchase, I looked at a lot of dog fountains which did not have the ability to control the water flow. While cat fountains did have this ability, this one is the best in terms of stopping the constant flow of water and personalizing it to how you want it. Now I use it as a backup source of water for my 2 dogs, in addition to their standing water bowl. The app works great for monitoring the daily water intake as well as the cleanliness of the replaceable filter.
