So I had just put lunch in the microwave, package arrived, opened it, put it together, stirred the potatoes and rotated the meat, restarted the microwave, took this outside and tested, it worked perfectly, set it down, grabbed my food and had lunch.

This item arrived very quickly and as described. The post to it had to be assembled but it was very easy. Nice ergonomic handle and the preassembled spikes are very sturdy. Worked great in the yard to aerate the grass, in Florida with our sandy soil.

This package arrived on schedule in excellent condition. This Walensee Lawn Aerator Spike is made out of heavy metal with bolts for the spiked. The package came with two extra spikes, bolts and lock-nuts to assemble the handle, and included two wrenches that fit the bolts to assemble the handle. The wrenches also fits the spikes although all spikes were assembled. I checked all assembled spikes to see if they were all tight, with these wrenches, and tightened a few that needed tightened. I love this tool and it works very well aerating my lawn.

The first thing i noticed was the weight of the metal, seems like it's built to last! When I pulled the 3 sections from the box, some of the hardware fell out (the hardware bag is zip tied to one of the tube sections). The bag had ripped in shipping, probably because they are including 2 extra spikes which are... sharp. And heavy. Sharing this so you open over a confined area and your screws/nuts don't shoot out and get lost.You'll assemble the 3 pieces by connecting with included screws and nuts (2 each). This seems to be better materialsvs other tools that assemble with metal expanding lock pins or worse, plastic pins.Instructions included but they're really not clear from the pic how the nut is seated. Make sure the rounded side of the nut is facing away from the screw head. Easy to tell w a small blue rubber ring in that rounded off side. You'll want to hold the screw head still on one side with the provided wrench while turning the nut on the other side with the second provided wrench. This could be challenging for ppl with limited dexterity, might be easier with your own tools with or a wingnut. I have good dexterity, but had the wrench slip a few times (wrenches are very thin).Using on the lawn was easy, I didn't have to step on it to apply extra force. I'm 5'4" and the height was good for me to use.

I purchased the Walensee Law Aerator Spike to aerate a small patch in my backyard. For the price, this product is good. Its very strong and do not need much effort to use ( as long as the ground is wet). I can recommend this product if you have small area to aerate. I recommend wearing good boots or hiking shoes to keep balance.The Instruction to setup was pretty clear and concise. I was surprised to see the vendors also sent a list of other products that they manufacture with picture. I didn;t know they manufacture so many products that I can use in my backyard for different applications. I plan to purchase a couple more products from this manufacturer.

This aerator is made of durable steel and is made well. It is very easy to assemble and it comes with a pair of “stamped steel” assembly wrenches and a couple of spare replacement spikes. I used it on compacted soil and the spikes went in pretty easily. For really difficult soils, I just wiggled the handle while I stepped onto the aerator and it left a nice set of uniformed holes. I’m very happy with this purchase and plan to aerate my whole yard. I have a medium size yard (about 3,000 sq. feet, front and back) It will take me a little time to do it but this aerator is easy to use so time is the major factor. I have several areas in my lawn that are compacted and have made St. Augustine grass difficult to grow. I’m looking forward to a beautiful lawn next season.

works well, note the ground needs to be wet so use after rain or soak ground with hose so the product goes in the ground easy, some areas in my yard has rocky places so it only goes down so far. Overall good product and sturdy also they give two extra prongs in case one breaks.
