Had a terrible time getting this to run bi-directional. Turned out the some of the the wires were mislabeled from the factory. HOURS spent figuring that out. That in and of itself is enough to say this motor is a do not buy.Their customer service would respond within a day or so, but they always provided some sort of AI answer that never once addressed the issue I was asking about. So a fail on that.The "knock-outs" for the electrical connection are anything but knock-outs- THEY ARE JUST INDENTS. they will not come out short of using A 3/4" DRILL BIT TO MAKE THE HOLE. Any attempt to remove them other than drilling a large hole through metal WILL RUIN THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION PORTION OF THE HOUSING.Overall- garbage. Do not buy. Spend the $300 and buy from a major manufacturer instead of this piece of Chinese junk.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!! Quality is absolute garbage. I returned the first one due to the bolt holes being clocked a 1/4 out so my gearbox sat way crooked. They sent a replacement only to have it the same exact way. And no you can’t clock it yourself it’s pressed into the housing ABSOLUTE JUNK. NOW I HAVE TO WASTE MY TIME TAKING THESE TWO PILES OF CRAP TO A UPS STORE TO RETURN THEM.

I have this running a homemade 55 gal drum dirt trommel with a double reduction gear. It’s been smooth and reliable so far. Only have an hour on it, will update if it fails.

Wrong info in the specs. Was described as a 78 in output shaft and in fact it was a 58 in shaft. Had to be returned and a motor purchased from another source. I was down 3 days of production becuase of this incorrect info

When I took it out of the box I noticed that the mounting bracket had scratches on the bottom, then when I opened the connection box, some of the wire strands iofthe wires were fanned and not twisted. The wires that were supposed to be factory connected, weren't. The motor works fine after I figured out the Chinese electrical meanings. I hope it lasts.

It's only been a few days since I received the motor and it makes me feel terrible!When I opened the motor with great joy, I found that the shaft of the motor was poorly made. It's not smooth at all. I cut my finger while installing it. And the motor had been running for two days and was smoking. I cut off the power and found a professional electrician to check. Although it was not expensive, I wanted to find out the reason. Taking apart the motor, I felt even worse. The electrician said that the coils were irregular and messy, causing the motor to short circuit and smoke. This motor is bad, very bad!!!

Clearly the Motor was a return from a customer. Reboxed and ship to other client (me) because the shipping box has no deformation but the motor inside ... humm look at the picture, that will tells you a lot.First, I want to return it ! yehh !!! I repaired and the rotor can rotate now.Good it the they can send me a back cover ;) but I can dream-on it hahaha !

Awesome. Nice and quiet and does a great job running my roller mill. Only complaint is the knock outs for the cord are a bear to remove
