Fit perfectly as a motor/fan replacement for QT-100L. Worked like new and very quiet. Easy replacement.

using a phone app, the original was about 75dB and this replacement about 65dB. The old squirrel cage was not well balanced and vibrated fan housing. This is in basement bathroom and no longer can hear is running on 1st floor.

Installed the fan today, super easy. The hardest part was fitting my tall ladder in the tiny bathroom. I’ve only had it today, but so far it seems to be working.

After checking and re-checking model number and fan motor number I decided to order it. Installed in 15 minutes. 3 screws and a standard plug in and I was done. Works great and no more fogged mirrors. Very low noise and way cheaper and easier to install than a new fan assembly.

As discussed on line the unit is a direct replacement for my failed motor. It took me less than five minutes to unbox the new assembly mount the fan assembly to the housing. Plug it in and start it up.It's working well.

This fit perfectly in my 24 year old NuTone QT-9093 fixture. Quick swap, quiet, draws a lot of air. Thanks, Mike

I ordered one of these years ago to replace the original fan, and installation worked without a problem. This replacement has not gone well at all.The first unit I ordered this time had extra plastic around the base of the motor and would not accept the original bracket at all. I had to order a second unit. This second unit thankfully has no extra plastic around the motor, however the wires for power and grounding are directly above the base plate’s hole for the bracket screw. The bracket will not fit over the wire. I cannot secure only one screw. It is not safe. Vibrations could cause a malfunction and pose a fire hazard. (See red line drawn in first photo.)Also, the height of the motor does not let the bracket feet touch the base plate. I managed to get one screw in on the opposite side from the wires and the screw wouldn’t secure the bracket to the base plate due to the gap. (See two lines drawn in second photo.) I suppose I’ll have to bring the whole thing and bracket along to the local hardware store and see if they can help me find an appropriate bracket. Our landlord is extremely sensitive to water damage, mold, etc., so replacing this has been stressful. We have around-the-clock work schedules in our home, so the shower is run multiple times throughout the day and overnight. We’ve been leaving the bathroom window open to let the air in but the weather is turning brisk so that will not be a viable option pretty soon. This has been a frustrating and disappointing project to deal with.
