This vent fan required just a bit if modification to fit in the existing slot - that is NOT a fault with the fan itself, our house is rather old and had a different size fan assembly. Once installed this fanis great, really moves the air.Amazingly quiet!

Works great, no more squealing. I tried blowing out the old fan with duster and it still screamed and squealed. Only issue wasn't with the fan, it was getting the old one out. I thought the entire box in the ceiling needed to come out, it's only the case that holds the fan. There are 3 parts where it clips into the box, you gotta push on those slots to pop it out. Other than that the screws needed to be pulled out and flipped around, bit of a pain but it works.

I replaced a dead motor in my bathroom vent with this model. Perfect fit. Reasonably quiet. Easy to install. I did need to modify the electrical connection but was easy.

Great replacement fan for an old enclosure. The newer motor models (9x9 plates) do not fit the old smaller metal enclosure (about 7x7 ish), so we got this motor/fan only part to install it on the old plate and reinsert in the enclosure. It was an easy job if not for one small detail. The motor power plug is slightly longer than the original so it did not allow for the cover to go back in place. Cut off the power plug and rewired the one from the old motor. 5 min job. Overall great replacement for the money. Keep in mind that the perfect fit in the enclosure is critical, otherwise you will get the annoying rattling noise when the fan runs. And for us, it is wired to the same switch as the light fixture, so it will run all the time the light is on, so had to be perfect tight install. Don't let all these clarifying details scare you, it was actually an easy job and much cheaper option than trying to find a full replacement with enclosure.

This is a gret replacement for the original fan. The only issue I can see is the plug is a little larger than the original, but if it is an issue I guess it can be spliced with the old plug.

This was perfect for my 20 year old exhaust fan. I’m not technically savvy but I was able to replace this no problem. Saved me on installing a new one.
