The part fit and was a direct replacement. I was worried about it crapping out like some other reviews stated, but it has been doing just fine.

This was surprisingly easy to install and fixed the rattle from the old motor’s fan shaft. However, I don’t think the design is much improved for more durability, and definitely not for reducing noise. Maybe a version with sealed ball bearings for the fan shaft would make it quieter and more durable.

Went quickly with assist of small socket set and a 5”extension for the 1/4” bolts. Took one bolt out loosened the other. Plugs right into outlet inside fixture. Replaced original Broan from 1996. Quiet as heck!Nice to have a project go so smoothly. Out with the noisy old. In with the new!

Removed the old one (9 years old) and replaced it with the new unit. It is quiet and efficient.
