Unit arrived very quickly and intact. This was purchased to upgrade a 50CFM bathroom fan. After going through the number of different units, I settled on this one. Replacement was easy-peasey (2 nuts, As for functionality, the unit works quite well. I was not able to determine an overall difference in operational volume from old unit to new. They seemed to be about the same. There was a slight difference in steam removal, going from 50 to 70CFM which I thought was a little disappointing , but once the shower was turned off, the mirror DID clear quicker IMHO. All things considered, I think this was a worthwhile swap-out. I would recommend this unit.

- Replaced vent fan motor due to bearing failure- New motor fits well, runs smoothly with no vibrations- Ordering second unit for quicker, easier semi-annual maintenance- Clean dust from housing, installed clean, ready-to-go motor and blade unit- Later in no rush I will carefully Clean the used motor and fan blades plus lubricate the motor bearing- Store the ready to use components until next semi-annual cleaning.

My Broan bathroom fan, Model 671 that was installed in 1976, quit working. This fan was a perfect fit!! Very easy to install, and I was able to use the same housing unit. Saved me having to purchase an entire new fan which would have been a lot more expensive!

I used it to replace the old fan in my bathroom. I had no issues removing or replacing. It has made a difference. I also went into the attic and added a vent hose and the suction is great.

I have a 43 year old broan bathroom exhaust fan. The model number was worn off, but the closest equivalent would be the number 671. The size of my unit was 8" x 8 1/4" x 4" deep.I took a chance on buying this device and I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered it was super easy to install, and it fit perfectly. I am very pleased with the motor and the fan blades performance and the drastically improved airflow over the original. [Note: with improved airflow comes more noise, not from the motor, but from the sound made from the increased airflow.]

It took my husband longer than 15 minutes to install but he did some extra cleaning to the unit at the same time. The fan is working with no issues. In all, my husband said installing the new one was not a problem. I’m so glad we have one that works again and it works great for showers and toilet situations. No louder than the previous fan.

So the box was in bad shape and wasn't really closed properly but the fan itself works great looks.to built well, and is actually quieter then my old fan which is great but the old fan w a metal fan sooooo...but anyways shipping was quick and fan works out of a damaged box so overall a good deal

Like my headline says it works fine mechanically. As mentioned in previous reviews it is loud…in a different way. The old one rattled and strained to start. This one starts fine but it puts off a very loud hum. Its fine until I buy a proper replacement that doesn’t sound like you are on a flight in a propeller commuter airplane. I don’t mind if an exhaust fan has some noise but this thing makes it clear that it is running.
