Pole-R Bear Umbrella Hooks are made to wrap around almost any size umbrella pole. Four stainless steel hooks hang down, making it easy to keep your beach bag, hat, camera, towels and anything else you’d like to keep out of the sand.
By hanging your items in plain sight, it helps to protect your valuables while at the beach, café, backyard, campsite or restaurant.
How it works:
The Patented design was engineered to tighten it's hold the more weight you add, and keep it's grip on the pole.
The strap is designed to work similar to a belt, you can adjust the size allowing the Pole-R Bear to fit almost any size umbrella. The four stainless steel hooks give you plenty of hanging space.

Love this ! Great invention. Keeps your bag off the ground so it doesn’t get wet, sand or bugs. Super easy to put on - just like a belt.Super handy, you can relax in your chair and just reach over and get what you need.I had multiple people ask where I got it on vacation.

I use this when I camp, I attach it to my center tent pole. It stays in place and hold a lot of weight, plenty of hooks. I use it to hold my jacket and other items that I need quickly.

I ordered this item as it showed up as a result to the search "palapas hook". It fits only umbrella posts. I guess I could buy 7 of them, and chain them to fit wooden logs, but that would end up too expensive. Will return it, unfortunately.The palapa posts I am used to in Mexico and Cuba are built from rather thick logs of woods. The strap of this hook is waaaaay too short to fit 6" to 9" thick palapas wooden post. It may work well with metal posts umbrellas up to 1.625". The precise posts dimensions it can be used with are shown only on the package, but is written nowhere in the description, and none of the pictures show any dimensions.The strap is made of thick ruberry/plasticky material, the hooks are made of coated stainless steel and they are squeezed between the pole and the tightened strap when used. It does look sturdy. The package includes a cylindrical adaptor for smaller posts (1/2" perhaps?).

This is almost a great design; however, it requires use of a small clear plastic gasket to secure it tightly. That clear gasket is way to easy to lose. I'm a very careful person, but unfortunately cannot find the darn thing any more.

I am so glad that I bought this umbrella hook for the beach. We hang our wet towels, my husband hangs his dry shirt, and I hang my cover-up from this hook. It wraps around the umbrella pole and you push a little rubber knobby thing through the correct size hole to form a really tight grip. It holds on tight. I've had some weight on this hook without it sliding at all. I use it on my Tommy Bahama Umbrella. I've used it all this summer and it works like new. This hook is a great idea. I live at the Jersey shore all summer and have never seen a product like this. People droop their wet towels and clothes over the backs of their beach chairs where they end up dipping in the sand and the sand then sticks to the towels and clothes. I've also seen people break the spokes on their beach umbrella by hanging wet towels from the spokes. This solves all those issues for us. I highly recommend this umbrella hook. This Umbrella Hook is extremely well-made and convenient/functional. I bought it to use on my umbrella on the Florida beaches.Construction: it is a pleasure to see someone make a sturdy device from top-notch, bullet-proof materials! The light-blue rubber "grip" or belt is thick and strong. It is adjustable just like a belt or watch-band, but it has double holes, for extra strength and gripping power. The rubber is the perfect balance of pliable, thick and strong, because you need to actually pull/stretch the rubber around your umbrella pole so it will hold. And it will.The metal on the "belt hooks" and hanging hooks is very strong and well-coated with a protective plastic surface. Nothing is going to bend these babies. In a recent beach trip, three of us hung on this thing huge, heavy beach-bags, wet towels and more, but there was nothing we could do to make it slip or fail in any way. Your umbrella with bend or break before this hook device does!Of course, you can place this device high or low or anywhere on your pole for convenience of reaching items. It was handy for me to keep within arm's length my hat, iPhone, headphones, glasses and more handy as I sat in my beach chair.I am going to order another one of these today to use on trips where many of us share one umbrella, so I will have one placed high on the umbrella pole for hats and towels and and another lower down for bags.Highly recommended

Bought these for my beach umbrellas. They work great even though I live in Missouri and have no beach, we use these for camping shade near the fire pit and river shore etc. These hooks are a wonderful addition and hold a surprising amt. of weight. I hope the rubber "gasket" does not lose its stretch. I have had them a couple of camping seasons and so far so good. I do not leave them on while in storage.Recently on a rainy camping trip we left the umbrellas at home since it is fall and cooler weather did not require the shade. They were however, stored with my camp gadgets and I put them on the legs of our easy up canopy. I am now ordering a couple of more sets as these held my jackets, chair sleeves, frying pan and many other gadgets thus freeing up the easily filled non ground spaces, keeping our table free of stuff and kept it dry too!!! I LOVE THESE THINGS!

I'm a sucker for little gadgets. I saw this and thought I might as well try it. Just used it for the first time and really enjoyed it! It does work and holds keys, camera, other things to hang (probably not a towel). This was a fun purchase and fits in my umbrella bag with the beach umbrella.I would suggest looking into the umbrella stand ([...]) if you'd like to buy something that will hold your umbrella in the ground at different places (backyard, park, sporting events and possibly the beach - haven't tried it at the beach yet). This was a great buy as well so I can have my shade wherever I want it whenever I want it!
