I've had this BCP Heavy Duty stand for several months. Love it!The smooth mobility of the stand around our deck makes it easy to position the umbrella at just the right shady spot for the deck table. The front wheel secure the stand still while in use or when it's moved and covered for non use.The double support knobs on the umbrella pole add to making the umbrella secure in the stand. We filled the stand with water and find its weight adding to its sturdiness. In the winter time it will be easy to empty the water for cold weather storage. A plus!To be able to have the umbrella 'offset' from the table because it is sturdy and mobile makes for more comfortable options when using the deck on a sunny day. We are using the deck more because of this. Such a comparison to our former way of putting the umbrella in the middle hole of the table - someone was always in the sun.On a side note, the BCP Customer Service was very quick and efficient in resolving an issue I had.Thank you BCP for this great stand!

I bought this for a beach-sized umbrella for my backyard. It's gusty, and my traditional metal umbrella stand was not doing the trick. I saw that you could add water to this one for the weight and was pretty thrilled with that AND it's on WHEELS, making moving it out to use and back to the house to store it when closed SO much easier. Now, the weight of the base is good, there are 2 screws that help with the post sturdiness. The wheels turn 360* on one side and are locked straight on the other side, so you can move it easily and in most directions, but, especially when full of water, it is a little fickle to get it to move/turn when and how you want it. I wouldn't complain about it much, though, because the overall feature is super convenient. I still keep an eye on the umbrella with some of the gusts, but overall, I would recommend; would buy again.

This is a very good stand. Holds the umbrella and does not tip over in high wind. We filled the stand with sand instead of water. The wheels roll very well, and they also lock. Definitely a good buy.

Works well with my 8 ft diameter umbrella. Easy assembly. Hole dismeter on side large enough for easy filling. Moves well and easy locks.

I live in Kentucky and it can be windy sometimes on a hot day. This holds 150 lbs of wet sand. Used a funnel and cup by cup filled this to the top. I had to rock it back and forth to settle the sand inside. The locking wheels make a huge difference. It doesn’t move one bit while the umbrella is up. I love that it’s too heavy for someone to steal. I trust this to keep my expensive umbrella up. Transporting this will need a team lift by strong people. You could roll it up on a trailer if you have one. The base doesn’t fit under some tables so be aware of that. I sweep it off or hose it down when the top is dirty. I don’t notice water spots when it’s dried so that’s a plus. It’s heavy enough when locked to hold back my 70 lbs dog. I have her long line attached to it. I’ll rap the line around the base of the pole to keep it out of the way when not in use. I’ve seen planters that fit on umbrella bases so that’s an idea if you wanted flowers!

I initially ordered this so we could have a second umbrella on the patio. Within 5 minutes of opening it, I knew I had to order a second one to replace the one we had no intention of replacing. It's so nice. It's incredibly sturdy. We had some wind yesterday that I never would have considered opening the umbrella up in, but we gave it a try anyway and it was solid. Not a single wobble or hint that it might fall over. My old stand never would have held the umbrella up in that wind. We filled it with water, but I might swap that out for sand before winter. The hole to fill it is a generous size, so you don't even need to take the nozzle off the hose to fill and there would be no difficulty pouring sand inside though a funnel would probably be helpful. The wheels are really convenient. Despite this thing being pretty heavy, you can move it around with ease and lock the wheels when it's in place. The base is large enough to put a small fan on for my dog laying under the umbrella. Assembly was a breeze. Had it put together and filled in under 15 minutes. Worth every penny.

Pretty expensive for a plastic container with 2 swivel wheels and steel receiver pipe but, hey, it works!. Not quite 5-stars as I found that the bolt holding one of the swivel wheels does not tighten (stripped). If I needed to continually move this around my patio I would likely have asked for a replacement but am rolling the dice thinking that this will not be an issue in the coming years.

We have a 9 x 13 umbrella and this stand supports it very well. Easy to assemble. Rolling feature is awesome.
