FINALLY, a great rolling umbrella base that can keep my big deck umbrellas from blowing over. These are super convenient, easily roll around to wherever I want on my deck, and they hold my big umbrellas tight. I got one and it was so good I bought another. Easily fill with water. My only gripe is that some of the hardware rusts faster than expected. Otherwise it'd be 5 stars. Maybe I'll spray them with ruse-preventing paint this spring.

I was initially hesitant to purchase this umbrella base due to several comments mentioning potential leaks. To address this concern, I decided to test it myself. Upon unpacking, I filled the base with water and let it sit for two days without the umbrella attached. Thankfully, it passed the test with flying colors—no leaks whatsoever!Design and Functionality:One of the first things I noticed is that the fill port is located on the side of the base. While this design choice does make filling the base with water or sand a bit awkward, it's a minor inconvenience. However, be prepared for the base to become quite heavy, especially if you choose to fill it with sand.Size and Stability:The size of this base is about 2-4" smaller than most on the market, which makes it perfect for small spaces. However, it’s important to note that a smaller base requires extra attention during windy or stormy days. The larger the base, the more stability it provides in high winds, so you may need to take additional precautions to secure your umbrella.Mobility:The standout feature of this umbrella base is undoubtedly the wheels. They are fantastic! Moving the umbrella stand around my patio is effortless, even when the base is fully loaded. This level of mobility is something I've not experienced with other models.Comparison with Competitors:Having purchased two umbrella bases from an Amazon competitor in the past, I thought they were satisfactory. However, after using this model, I realize what I’ve been missing out on. The convenience and ease of use this base offers are unmatched, making it a superior choice.Overall Impression:Despite the slightly awkward filling process, this umbrella base has proven to be reliable, sturdy, and incredibly easy to maneuver. The addition of wheels is a game-changer, making it a breeze to reposition my umbrella as needed. We need a really heavy weight base for our front porch umbrella but the heavyweights are too heavy to move around easily. This is perfect solution. Easy to assemble, super sturdy rolling casters, square shape makes it more stable. Love that it arrived empty so it’s easy to assemble and set up & THEN you fill it with both sand & water, so it’s weighted. It’s also easy to move around with the wheels. Caster locks are very stiff at first so a bit challenging to lock down but that just means the base & umbrella aren’t rolling away anywhere! We’re using with a heavy duty 11 ft umbrella on our front porch which is windy & this was a great choice. Highly recommend

I love this! It is on wheels and easy to move around the deck. Once in place, the wheels easily lock by pressing your foot on the little lever. I do not have the umbrella stand connected to the table so I can easily move around as needed based on the sunshine coming into the deck. Stands up well to high winds also! The pole is fairly thick but may be able to be connected to a patio table, I would check the diameter if that’s what you’re looking for.

This patio umbrella base is just what we needed. It is sturdy after easily filled with water, and the wheels allow us to move it around as needed. All 4 wheels have brakes.

I needed a new stand for my umbrella and this one has proven to be very useful to me. I love that it has rollers because I move my table around to block the sun. I like that it doesn’t have metal components besides the screw adjuster that holds your umbrella tight. No rusting problems like the previous one I had.
