It's a really heavy base when it's filled with water. Served it's purpose. I wish it had rollers on all sides or at least 2.

The umbrella 10x13 easily mounts directly on to this base. With a jell silicone inside with water creates a heavy 400# lb yet still moveable base for my umbrella

Best company to do business with. Great umbrella weight. So solid. Easy to fill. Easy to use

I've had my umbrella 10 x 13 all summer with this base. It has held the umbrellas steady with some strong winds, of course the umbrellas were also lowered at the time. I'm planning on adding anti-freeze to the base for winter storage, hope this all works out. Well done Deconk

The metal base that comes with the Deconk Umbrella is too big to fit in the designated place on the bottom of this Deconk Base. ASSEMBLED WITHOUT IT. Seems sturdy enough, but this is strange as Deconk Base was specifically recommended for this umbrella and cost more than comparable bases.

I ordered a 9x12 and was worried about the base. I looked at all of them. This one says it can hold 265lbs of water. Well I filled it up only with water and it is really heavy. It's held my umbrella in 20mph winds. FYI I had to get longer metric bolts to mount the umbrella into the base.

You can fill it with just water -- most you can't -- and have, I think, a 265-lb. base. This is a HUGE benefit.Large fill holes, large drainage holes. Easy.It worked for me all summer in Los Angeles and halfway through Fall, holding a 9 x 12 De Conk umbrella in place. It costs more than it should. That's the one minus point. They were definitely good to themselves with the pricing, but it is a solid, quality product. If you're comparing prices, remember that you're comparing apples and oranges. If one requires sand and one doesn't, you have to factor in the cost of the sand.. And if it has tiny holes, factor in the irritation of getting 200 pounds of sand through those tiny holes. And if lifting a 50 pound bag of sand is not your idea of a good time, or something you could even do, that's potential cost, as well.In the end, in summary , I shopped really carefully for my umbrella and stand, both De Conk, and I have been really pleased with everything about them.
