I spent quite some time clicking through Amazon, reading reviews, and comparing prices for an umbrella base for a patio umbrella I had recently purchased. This item was just what I was looking for! Good size for the 4-seater patio table it would be sitting under, sleek, black, and most importantly- affordable. It has worked wonderfully all summer with absolutely no signs of ware and tear- We plan to store it in the shed over the winter and I anticipate this to last several years. Definitely recommend!

Easy to put in umbrella base. Looks pretty and keeps it anchored. On super windy days I put bricks on top but on a normal day it isn’t needed. Works great for the price. Very happy.

This is a very nice looking base at a very reasonable price. It is pretty heavy, so I don't find it easy to move. But then, I don't really want it to be so light the umbrella wobbles. I would definitely buy again if I ever needed a 2nd base. I do use it with umbrella inserted thru hole in a patio table, not just a freestanding umbrella.

I’d give it NO stars if possible. Cheap plastic filled with sand. Arrived cracked with sand spilling out of the box. The box was in tatters. Can’t believe it was shipped at all. Had to tape up the box as best I could and get that heavy box to the post office to return. A pain in the ***!

Works well, heavy enough to hold the parasol but not so heavy that I can't change the position on the patio.

I found this to be pretty good once I had help setting it up. The actual base isn't the issue but my furniture meant it was a bit of pain to get into place.I have cube furniture which has a braced frame at the bottom. When you put this together the holder for your parasol sticks up. I had to have help lifting the table overt his and then lining it up with the hole. It also just about fit under these braces. If I was you I'd check the clearance. You can always lift the four corners of your table if it doesn't quite squeeze. It's nice and heavy and once your parosal is dropped you can lock the tube within the base. All in all I'm very happy and this week I'll be doing the garden ready for summer. Hopefully we'll get one.

Got a parasol or umbrella? Need a base? This is the FRUITEAM 22lbs Round Patio Umbrella Base, Measures 15" Diameter, In Black. This parasol base is superb, it will fit all umbrella or parasols, but you will needs some wedges for smaller thinner umbrellas. You get 3 fixings for all sizings, and there is a tightening screw which could be longer if I am honest. There is some simple assembly required, but all parts / tools provided. It is a heavy unit though, so I warn thee! But once it is in place it is going nowhere, it is very robust and sturdy.Overall I'd recommend this base unit, just a pity the tightening screw ain't longer for thinner poles.

I bought this for my 10ft patio umbrella and it's not sturdy enough. There's just the plate that's maybe 3in off the ground and then one screw that's suppose to hold a small pole AND the 10ft umbrella. While it's heavy enough to keep it down. There's only (technically) 3in that are holding the entire thing together. Think of those triangle tripods, the middle rod hold the item while the three legs keep it steady, sturdy, and upright.... this does non of it. One could argue that the umbrella os too big, sure. However, it still needs something to keep the rod itself upright because it doesn't do that. There's literally one screw underneath to keep it together and another "tightening" screw at the very top. Try adding 3 of those with extra hight and then you'll have a successfully executed umbrella weight.I saw great reviews. But they must have only had it for a few hours to admire it. I at least waited till I had a decent review of it. While it it pretty it looks like I'm going to have to add those unpleasant weight bags that hold the pole in order to keep it from tilting.

Does not screw together all the way, base leans to one side or the other. Very unsteady, was unable to support small 7.5 ft umbrella and now umbrella is broken from falling over. Cheap plastic, spend the extra money to invest in quality metal.
