We use these for our camper and they are great! You can definitely tell when the filters need to be replaced because we get the horrible rotten egg smell. The campgrounds we frequent have well water, so there is often a lot of rust and other minerals in the water. We got this system when we bought our new camper almost 4 years ago. We have a seasonal site and will travel to another campground every so often. The campers that do not have a system like this will have rust stains on their camper where the water connection is. We do not have that (and have not seen any signs of rust or corrosion in our camper plumbing). This system has also helped keep our water heater cleaner and lengthen the life of the anode rod. Even though we don't drink the water directly, we do use it to brush our teeth, bathe and sometimes make ice cubes. We use our camper to shower and have seen NO signs of rust or other mineral build up on our shower walls, shower head or other plumbing. When we change the filters, you can see all of the rust and minerals that have collected on the filters!

We live full time in our RV (former military, moved cross country, building a house) and of course didn't trust every water source we came across. I used a less expensive 10 inch filter housing from Amazon for $100 or so, and then put these filters in. After 6 months, the rust filter was RED, but the taste difference was immediate. Of course, I don't taste the difference for everything that's being filtered out, but I know these are high quality filters and trust them well. I pre-filter with a cheaper 1 micron inline hose filter and these still catch stuff in the 1 micron filter. They're expensive, but worth it.

We have the camco 3x filtration system on our toy hauler and trying to find those filters is next to impossible, and they weren't cheap! Finding this 3 pack was great! They were a perfect fit for that system and you can definitely tell a they are working as we went a few days without any filters and you could almost smell the water from the campground. Once these were installed it was much cleaner ,clearer water. And for a fraction of the price of other filters!

Easy to change filters, best water quality from these filters. Very good value. No leaks if used with the correct system.

I've purchased the Clearsource Ultra System Replacement Filter Three Pack with VirusGuard four times in the last two years from Amazon, and it has been an absolute game-changer for my RV living experience. The difference in water quality is night and day – if you're not using a quality filter like this, you're essentially the filter!I wasn't much of a water drinker before, but after moving into our RV full-time and traveling across various RV and state parks in Texas and New Mexico, I realized the importance of having reliable water filtration. The Clearsource Ultra Filter is not only portable but also incredibly easy to use, making it a perfect fit for the RV lifestyle. Each time I change the filters, I'm reminded of their effectiveness by how dirty they are, proving that regardless of the location, you absolutely need a good water filter. Another point to note is the longevity of these filters. The water quality remains excellent for up to six months, although a decrease in the speed of filling the fresh water tank is a clear indicator that it's time for a change. In conclusion, for anyone living in an RV or frequently on the road, this filter system is a must-have. It's a small investment for the assurance of clean, safe drinking water, no matter where your travels take you.
