It's a plastic cap. It works. Shipping was fast. I'm happy with it. I probably should've ordered a couple of extras as I've already lost one.

I lost the cap for the fresh water tank to our camper because the piece that attaches to the lid that keeps it attached to the camper was broken off. I ordered this one and it was the same size and works great. No more getting griped at about how I lost the cap. Thank goodness! Lol
