Your cart is empty.The Tenkara Universal Tip Cap is designed to fit most Tenkara rods. The “normal” size will fit most of your Tenkara rods, for wider rods like Keiryu you might consider the “large” size. It is best to choose the smallest size that will fit your rod. I love the Universal Tip Cap because it is more functional than the traditional rod tip plugs. They hold very securely and do not slide off on accident. You can keep your line attached to the rod with out it getting pinched by a rod plug. And most people find them harder to loose track of. I use the Universal Rod Tip Caps on most of my rod and I think you will love them. Small: up to 11mm diameter (fits most thin rods). Medium-Small: up to 13.2mm diameter (fits many rods). Normal: up to 15.3mm diameter (fits most rods). Large: up to 18.3 diamerter (fits some Keiryu rods).

I purchased this item in the S/M and Regular sizes for two different rods that have lost caps.One lost the bottom endcap. Two lost the top endcaps.These worked perfectly - the Regular covers the bottom well and could cover a top also. The S/M covers the tops (smaller poles).Of note - these are of large enough size that any residual water will be able to evaporate.Also, there is enough stretch in the band that closes the tip around the rod - the cap is secure enough but not too tight.Durable, well made - perfect for replacing lost endcaps on a tenkara rod!

Very bulky. One would not fit on rod with line keeper on, so I had to return them. Not sure what to get to replace.
