I bought this rod for targeting small fish. It is incredibly sensitive to bites which is what I wanted. Unbelievably, I caught this tiny perch (clearly it was thinking this was the meal of a lifetime) and the rod was sensitive enough to detect the bite. Obviously much more obvious for bigger fish, just pointing out how well refined this rod is. Well worth the price to the point that I'm thinking of adding another one to the collection.

From many of the reviews I've read, a lot of customers reported receiving broken rods. How mine was packaged, it would really have to be mishandled to break it. It came in it's own sturdy display package from the company and in the normal Amazon box. Rod is very light, weight wise. All guide lined up. Quality feeling. Now own two.

I love all my Tickle Sticks. My only complaint is that the tips break really easily. Get a good quality case to store them in.

Wicked rod. Went medium and very happy ...still light enough to detect the tiny bites and since the reel is set so far back it fishes like a 36 inch rod.

Have now owned 3 of these. I owned 1 and loved it so much I bought 2 more. I like the SUL for panfish. It shows any light bite or negative bite. A very fun rod to fight fish. Love the yellow tip. However be careful hoe you store it so the tip doesn't get bent or crush. It will stay bent from memory. I did end up breaking one rod tip but thay was mist Likely my fault since I was trying to get ice off tip with my gloves on, was too cold to take gloves off
