Used this rod with a baitcaster with 20 lb line and was very surprised how far it could be used to send a lure with a snap of the wrist. Love the action,and strength of the 6'6 two piece rod. Great action,and lure launch capacity.Use similar rod on BFS,but this one is for heavier baits and not for BFS. The look,feel,and yields confidence. My first Ugly stick experience is excellent.

I tested the rod the next I recived it, worked good, sensibility could be better but overall is really good.On the other hand the package was very poor, the rod came just covered by a plastic bag and a couple fragile stickers that's it the bag was ripped and it did arrived with a couple scratches, I don't really mind because I'm using it for bank fishing so meeh

I’ve always loved ugly stiks. This one is great with my baitcaster. Great quality my only complaint is the grips when they get wet they become slick. Other than that this is a great rod. And will definitely buy another

These are great rods, I have three of them now and I love them. The only thing I could say that could be a little different is the hook for storing your line is kind of an odd shape. But other than that, I love them!!!

For the money, you cant go wrong. The medium heavy is a bit stiff in comparison to other rods I have.

Better balanced than expected, could never find a 7’ in the stores so I only was able to check out smaller stiffer models.. super happy with it!

When casting, line gets hung up on lure retaininer on rod above reel. Therefore, I removed it.
