For now, I’m giving it 5 stars because I need to test it while fishing and give it some time to use.When assembling the rod and handling it, I can say that it is well manufactured.The tips fit securely, which I find very good.I really like the guides and their forward-facing position.But one important point for me is, i see that since the tips fit securely, you need to be very careful when disassembling the rod to avoid applying too much force. Without realizing it, the pressure while pulling could be applied to the side instead of straight forward, which could affect the rod and cause it to break.After seeing many broken fishing rods compared to the total number sold by Goture, I suspect that some breakages are due to mishandling and improper care, while others may be intentional damage. Fishing rods made with newer materials require careful handling to avoid dropping them on any hard surface or hitting them against furniture corners if used indoors. Many of us also fish in rocky areas, where we sometimes fall while moving from one place to another, potentially striking the rod.All of this can cause cracks in the rods that are not visible until we make a cast, at which point the rod breaks. This is also explained by Goture on the packaging, where they provide recommendations on how to prevent rod breakage.

LOVED this fishing rod (at least for the first 10 month), so much I bought it twice! But after the same issue happened on both rods, I had to tell my story.Both rod's eye's break at the 8 month mark. The top two connection, break where they connect to each other at the 10-12 month mark. With the first rod, I just assummed it was being used too much and never requested a refund.When the second rod had the identical issues, I felt I had to tell my story.Maybe bad luck or bad engineering?As stated above, LOVED them for the first 10 months, but be careful if you think these will last. These are a one year purchase.

6'6' MH rod. Not as stiff as my Ardito travel rod, but at less than half the price, it is solid. Enough backbone to catch bigger fish. Very similar feel to my TFO rods, so it's a good value.UPDATE10/20/23- One of the sections broke, I see that there is a 1 year warranty on the rods, we'll see how this goes. Will leave the 5 stars for now, as I really like this rod.UPDATE 10/28/23- Goture honored the warranty, New replacement rod arrived today. Buy with confidence.

Bough this rod for a friend that needed a multipurpose travel rod. She did not want to spend a lot so we ordered this rod (7' Medium Fast with Fuji guides). The craftsmanship is excellent, nice guide wraps, guides are indeed Fuji. Reel seat is graphite with a metal locking nut. We dry tested the action and it looks like a medium power with fast action. Rod comes with a sleeve with individual pockets for each of the four sections and this goes into a nice and sturdy PVC case. Weight of the rod was 137 grams. At first impression, this rod has nothing to envy to my St. Croix Travel Rod that was 3x the price and had no hard case included. I will update the review once we test it in our Saltwater estuary and local beaches.

Better rod and hard case than I expected for the price I paid. Took longer to arrive due to international shipping delays, but was extremely well packed.Happy to recommend product.

I purchased the 8ft MH and 7ft Med action rods and I am more than satisfied. I have the 8ft paired with an Okuma Trio 4000 and the 7ft paired with a Okuma Trio 3000. I have used the 8ft beach fishing catching several Jacks, Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel. I can easily cast a 1oz spoon or swimbait, even though the rod is 4 pieces it rarely needs adjusted. And the 7ft has great sensitivity along with a good backbone. The only complaint is the guides are micro, especially the tip. I usually use braid with a floro leader joined by a double uni knot but the tip guide is so small the knot has a hard time passing through smoothly. I just spooled up with strait mono and it worked well. The pictures above were all caught on my last trip on the 7ft rod. Caught a few decent redfish, jacks, and a unexpected spotted gar while fishing in brackish water, also caught several ladyfish, mangrove snapper, spotted trout and small snook. The rods travel well, and I am actually able to fit the 7ft rod in the tube with the 8ft so I only have to travel with 1 tube. I was a bit hesitant ordering these rods, I was looking at the Okuma Citrix but I am pleasantly surprised and I plan to purchase a few more for my future travels.2 years later I am still using the same rod and reel combos with zero issues. I pack them in my checked bag everytime I head down to Florida on fishing trips which is multiple times a year. Just got back and caught a slob of a Jack Crevalle on my 7ft M action. It literally pulled the boat around and stripped almost all my line off the reel multiple times and the rod handles flawlessly. Added a additional picture above!

After opening the box, the first word that came to my mind was "Wow!". Then I started to unwrap this awesome looking rod. I know it's 8pm but I had thoughts of going fishing.😎After a bad experience with my previous order, rod tip shaft was broken. Evidently, during the packaging process. So I decided to shop a little more and I came across this GOTURE. The reviews were outstanding and this rod actually cost less than my previous purchase, which I returned. I must say, I couldn't be happier with my decision to change routes.I mean, check out the presentation, and the handy travel tube with the strap is a winner in itself. Can't wait to give this baby a go. Kudos To GOTURE for making such a beautiful, affordable travel rod.
