These are large enough to see the reading easily without putting your nose up to the window and squinting. The price was reasonable.

I put it on one of the posts holding up the patio roof. I can pretty much see it from the window, but that's my faulty vision. I applied superglue to the back of the bracket before attaching it. When I had the thermometer itself aimed where I wanted it, I put superglue on the points holding it on the bracket. The only thing I would like to see, is the screws being larger to hold the bracket on. I used my own larger screws.

We needed a easy to read outdoor thermometer that we can look out a window to read the current temp. I didn't use the mounting screws but used adhesive tape instead to mount it. It can be rotated 360 degrees to face any direction so when we are outside on our deck, it can be turned to face us. Very accurate - it stays within 1 degree of the locally reported temp. Good for a quick look while getting dressed for the day. Great value for the money.

For over 25 years, we had a Taylor thermometer outside the window over the kitchen sink. Unfortunately, it recently was broken. I hoped that this model would work as a replacement, but it has to be attached in a different way and it won't fit right. It does register the temperature accurately--I checked. It also is inexpensive. Rather than return it, I am trying it out in the basement.

I like the big and bold numbers but the workmanship is poor, I don’t think this will last. It is inexpensive so I don’t expect to much from it.

Seems spot on temperature wise, but very cheaply made. That's why the low price - but it works fine!

It works fine. Some reviewers have complained that the gauge is not accurate. Mine was not when I received it, but this is not a problem. There is a small adjustment screw on the back. Check an accurate source for temperature, like your phone, and adjust the screw accordingly.I am amused at other reviewers complaint that the gauge does not measure accurately in the sun. Everything heats up in the sun! You, your car, the pavement and temperature gauges. No gauge will be accurate in the sun. Temp gauges should always be placed in all day shade, just like the National Weather Service does. That said, keep in mind this is a $10 item. Don't set your expectations too high.

First thing I did was to calibrate the thermometer with the current known temperature. It was easy to do with the back screw. Screw it outdoors with the bracket and two screws supplied, by a window which was easy to do. At one point the overnight temperature dropped 22 degrees as measured by a very accurate thermometer I had placed next to it, but this thermometer registered only an 8 degree drop. Low price does not justify the hassle returning it, but save yourself a few dollars and stay away from this trash.

Where I'm at, it's currently 43 degrees. Apparently the thing that looks like a thermometer thinks it's -60. The lack of snow on the ground would be a good visual indicator. Either way, the cheap Chinese pseudo-thermometer is not even worth the plastic or the slave labor used to make it.Part of me had a feeling it would be this way but, hope springs eternal and sometimes we all need the occasional reminder that you get what you pay for, in this case it's worth much less than the $10 I paid. Lesson has been re-learned.Some of the cheap Chinese garbage I've ended up with has worked, at least to a point and for a time. This appeared to be DOA right out of the box. It's currently residing in the trash as I don't even want the material it was made from to be recycled for fear is has some residual properties of suckage that may end up back in the supply chain.Your mileage may vary...but I doubt it.
