I love this thermometer. I also bought another brand thermometer to go at another location. When I compared the two to a fluid type thermometer, the Lichi more closely followed it. The other brand was off as much as 5 degrees. This Lichi has larger numbers and bigger screen that makes it easier to read. I mounted the transmitter in my car port and it easily communicates with the inside unit.

Product arrived as ordered and works like a charm. I have had a system much like this one and had lasted me for years. This unit appears to be able to last a bit of time also. Easy set-up and works through the crazy weather we seem to have.

So pleased I purchased this product to replace another brand whose outdoor sensor last 10+ years. The display on this product is bright, easy to read, informative and be set up to monitor multiple sensors instead of just one. The monitor clearly provides in and out door temps and humidity readings and a display of potential weather changes to rain or some other condition based on pressure changes. When my other old original temperature/sensor "system" dies, I'll be buying another one of these.

Here in parts of the south, our tankless water heaters are on the outside of the house. This makes them susceptible to subfreezing temperatures and makes us susceptible to burst water pipes. The outdoor sensor in this product is now hanging near our water heater so we can keep watch each night to take precautions and wrap the exterior pipes if temps are dropping, and they have been dropping more frequently each winter. The range of the wireless sensor is more than enough to connect with the interior unit which is very attractive and small enough to tuck onto a shelf in the living room. The unit also shows the ambient room temp and humidity, so we can be sure our furnace is working as expected. I'm frankly surprised at the low price of this set for the quality. We're so impressed by it that we just ordered a second sensor to hang inside the garage. I would definitely recommend this unit by this manufacturer for anyone who wants to keep track of temps and humidity either outdoors or anywhere else.

Works well. Just make sure the outside element is positioned in a visible area.

EDIT: I'm changing my rating from 5 stars to one star. Why?: Because after 5 months, it stopped working altogether. I changed all the batteries even though they didn't need changing, checked all the connections, left the sensor next to the main unit for two days and... nothing. It simply doesn't work anymore. I'm getting another brand._______________________________________________________________First of all, I would like to thank Ruby Murphy, Tim Crnko, Tom & LiChi for answering my question which asked about how long after you set up the outside sensor would it take to be able to read it inside.I asked that because mine took approx. 2 ½ hours to finally click in, but when it did, it was pretty accurate. (Amazon doesn’t let me thank you directly under your answers to me.)The reason (I think) it took so long as that the spring on one of the negative ends of the batteries in the remote sensor was not aligned the way it was supposed to be. I had to take a pliers to straighten it out. It’s still not perfect, but it’ll have to do. (I wish I knew how to contact the maker to get a replacement sensor, but I guess I’ll have to live with this one.)Anyway, other than that, the entire unit seems to work really well. I’m not on a NASA trip to Mars(!), so Idon’t care if it’s a degree or two off. I just want to look at the unit and know that it’s cold. (And as I write this, it’s approx. minus 5 degrees F. That’s cold in my book!)This unit is so much better than my previous one from another maker, which had to be stuck on the window and only told the outside temp. After a while, the other unit would get fogged up by the rain and you couldn’t even read it. This (indoor) unit sits on the shelf by the kitchen window and tells you the inside temp.; outside temp; and a whole bunch of other info. It will take readings from up to 3 different outside sensors (but I only needed one for my use).I highly recommend it. Just make sure the springs on the negative ends of the batteries are straight or the batteries will move around until you straighten the spring(s) out.
