I set the thermometer near our thermostat for a couple of days and adjusted it, as instructed. Then put it outside… it always reads 40-50 degs but actual temps have fluctuated from single digits to upper 50s. Do not buy.

Large numbers make it easy to read throughout much of the yard. In a protected area of yard so gives me a very accurate read since much of my yard is in full sun. Color adds a spot of color

So far this baby has seen 0 to 64 degrees F. It's mounted outside on my deck and seems accurate so far. It looks great and can be seen from across the entire house (through the window) Love it!

This review is for the 12" Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Decorative - Waterproof Garden Wall Thermometer for Patio, Large Number Thermometer with Stainless Steel Enclosure, No Battery Needed Hanging Thermometer. I bought it in Jan 2025. It is sturdy, seems well-constructed, the round frame is a nice color of metal, giving it a bit of a classy look. And I was able to manually calibrate it as needed to make it accurately match my traditional and trusted mercury thermometer. I like this thermometer.I do wish the pointer needle was red and not black so that it could contrast with the gauge behind it. Think about if that is important to you when purchasing an outdoor thermometer that might be placed at a distance from where you would be standing when you read it. Could you easily see where the needle was pointing?Is that small detail enough to give this product only a 4-star rating and not 5-star? Perhaps not, but there are already 1,499 ratings posted for this item and, if you're like me, you'll first read the ratings that are not 5-star.

So far so good. Had to adjust it to reflect the correct temp., it was off a few degrees. It might be fine in the long run, initially is was on the high side by 2 degrees.

Thermometer is a nice size and hangs easily. Temperature setting was close right out of the box but it needs to be placed out of direct sunlight. Temperature was 20 degrees high with sun shining on it.

It looks good and performs well. It is hanging outside the back door, under an overhang and near the pool. With its low price and high functionality, it should be highly considered when purchasing a thermometer.
