This is a great thermometer with very accurate temperature and humidity readings. Pairing up the sensor was very simple, just make sure you read the instructions. I had to switch the default display from Fahrenheit to Celsius. The display is very large and readable which is great for quickly checking the temperature in the morning. All the measurements so far closely match the weather channel and online weather reports which makes me very happy.My only dislike is that this device only comes with 1 sensor, the thermometer supports up to 3. i'm not sure where to even purchase them. For that reason i'm giving it 4 stars

I like being able to see what the outdoor temperature is, without sticking my nose out of the door. This is quite a sophisticated device which reports much more information than simply indoor and outdoor temperature. including, indoor and outdoor humidity %'s and trends and sensor battery condition. Even if you don't utilized the alarms/alters, you will appreciate the basic functions of the device. One caution is that the sensor should placed out of direct visibility to sunshine because sunshine significantly distorts the temperature reading.

I am happy with this well-designed product. It is easy to set up and to operate. I have it set up on my desk and can easily see the temp and humidity where I have it placed. I have the USB cord plugged into a nearby USB slot, so I don't have to worry about the batteries failing on the display unit. I also like the backlight control on the top of the product, which makes it easy to turn off and turn on the backlight. My one small nitpick is I would like another display setting where the brightness could be less. I haven't used the temp alerts though I know they are available.

Using this wireless thermometer in my outside shed. The units are about 40 ft apart and works great. An added advantage is the big display numbers and backlit screen. It has been giving me accurate temp and humidity readings for 2 months now. I love that it also has an indoor temp/humidity reading. This weather station may be small but you can easily read the numbers from over 10 ft away. I recommend this product.

I love this thermometer most of the time. It accurately tells the temperature inside my three season room and outside of my house, except when it's raining very hard. The display is easy to read and is small enough to not take up much room on a shelf. The only issue I have is that when it rains, the outdoor thermometer does not work (the indoor still works). It goes back to working after it stops raining and some time has passes (I guess for it to dry out). I've tried different ways to keep it dry but so far my efforts have not worked - I have it in a plastic baggie with the string coming out of a small hole I have tried sealing so I don't think much water can get in. But, it still stops working when it rains. I don't know how an outdoor thermometer can be kept away from rain so I don't know what the solution is. I just deal with not having getting the outdoor temperature when it's raining. Given the price, I feel this product is still worth it.

A great product for a great price! It is very accurate and easy to use. I love that it lights up so I can easily read it early in the morning before going out to feed our animals. It easily connected and we haven't had any issues with it disconnecting. I also appreciate knowing the humidity levels in our home and outside as well. I would highly recommend this product to family or friends.

This weather station comes with one base/screen that provides temperature & humidity readings collected from the base's location and it's displayed at the bottom.It also comes with an indoor/outdoor sensor that you can either place elsewhere in your home or outside. The readings from the sensor appear on the top portion of the screen.You can add up to 3 sensors in total, which you have to purchase separately but unfortunately I wasn't able to find additional sensors on the HODIK store front or anywhere else on Amazon.Pairing the sensor to the main base was quick and easy.It doesn't look like there's a rotating feature when you have more than 1 sensor, it seems you need to manually press the buttons to see the readings of the 2nd and 3rd sensor.When the back lit screen is on the display is bright, clear and easy to read.From what I can tell when comparing to other standalone temperature & humidity devices I own the HODIK weather station seems to give accurate readings.You will need 2x AA batteries for the sensor and 3x AAA for the base which are not included.The lifespan of the batteries in these devices remains to be seen.You can use it with just the batteries but the back light of the base stays off until you touch it and turns off after a few seconds to preserve power.You can use a USB-C cable to power the base's back light and leave ON all the time, but that's the only purpose of the USB-C connection, it doesn't power the device itself, batteries are absolutely needed, which I find odd, I would of liked to save on 3 batteries and just power the base screen & functionalities only via USB-C.Overall it's a good product, ideal if you want to be able to see up to 4 different readings from 4 indoor/outdoor locations in and around your house from one central device.Hopefully the availability of extra sensors will be easy in the near future.

This is an indoor / outdoor thermometer. The base unit senses indoor temperature and humidity. A remote unit senses the temperature and humidity at some other location (usually outdoors). The base can accommodate up to three sensors, but I don't see any way to order additional sensors. The base can run on three AAA batteries or it can be plugged into a USB power source (not included). The package includes a USB power cable, but no power adapter. The remote sensor is a batteries only (2AA) unit.Temperature readings appear to be accurate, matching other similar units. Comparing to other units an illuminated display helps with visibility across the room. When battery powered the backlight turns off after a few seconds. When powered through the power socket, the backlight is on all the time.The unit has a neat feature where it can alert you if the temperature at the location of the remote sensor falls above or below a threshold. When the threshold is exceeded it beeps a few times and then the beeping stops. The display continues to flash to indicate that a threshold has been exceeded. Different thresholds can be set for each remote sensor.The unit manages to pack alot of information into a small display. The most appealing thing for me though is the always on backlight if the unit is plugged into power. The increased contrast makes it visible from across the room. That's very handy when I want to have a quick check of the temperature before running out the door.
