The finish on the base was pathetic for a so called machined surface. The plane has a nice appearance to it but looks does not determine the quality of a tool. Would not recommend.

Ho sempre voluto un pialletto della Stanley e finalmente grazie ad un offerta lampo sono riuscito a portarmelo a casa ad un prezzo davvero imbattibile. Il pialletto è davvero ben fatto e pesante, nonostante le molte recensioni in cui si parlava di lame non affilate e suola non rettificata ero un po’ spaventato ma alla fine quello che è arrivato a me è di ottima qualità. La base in ghisa è pesante e perfettamente piana mentre la lama è affilata e con il tagliente diritto. In confezione si trova la pialla e una comoda custodia in tessuto morbido da attaccare alla cintura. Sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto e lo consiglio a tutti gli hobbisti e appassionati di strumenti manuali, strumenti che a mio parere hanno sempre un grandissimo fascino.
