The handle is cheap plastic with protruding seams where it was glued together. The sole is so far from flat that it will thke hours to fix. The knob was losse and tightening it cracked its plastic. 2 stars instead of 0 because the blade is ok. Amazed that the Stanleyname is on this. Do not buy!

The Plane came in a box that was almost destroyed and the unit was broken! The tote was plastic which should have been wood. It was broken in several places and the blade assembly was not operable. You could not possibly made this plane make a cut....

It is not a No7 i received a No5 plane. I dont need a No5 plane i need a No7 as advertised.

The knob broke shortly after I started using it, and I see how Stanley earns it's reputation with the current crop of tools.Oh well, live and learn.

No soy experto pero con un poco de ajustes, limpiar la base con disolvente, afilar bien y listos. Funciona perfectamente.
