I bought this to router out some wood for a pocket door lock plate. It was sub $30 and shipped from China, I needed it to work once so wasn't expecting much. I'm very impressed with the adjustment and set screws the plate itself is very nicely machined and adjustments are fine and smooth. Worth every penny very happy with this purchase.

Wow for the money it is a great little router plane!Well built. Blade very sharp right out of the box. Adjustment is easy and very little play. Handles are nicely finished. Before use make sure handles are tight against body (mine had a bit of glue which holds the screws that prevented this but was easy to take care of with a sharp knife)Wish the base plate was machined instead of painted/anodized where it comes in contact to the wood surface you are working on. Will have to see how this finish stands up to use. Also wish spear point blade was included in set. Looks like Veritas two piece blades may work without the Veritas post. Also since this a smaller router, wish there were narrower blade option. I have not been able to find any and those would probably require a different adjustment post to implement. You will also have to make or purchase a jig to hold the blade when you need to sharpen it as one is not included. Only thing in the box other than the router plane is a hex wrench to remove the blade from the post.Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
