It's easy to clean and was quick to set up and use! I brined and cooked a turkey breast and then refrigerated it for about a day, then cut it. It was the best turkey I've ever made! It cut through the slices easily and well. It was pretty easy to hold the turkey and keep it still to cut up until the end. It is made of metal and is very sharp. It does seem very durable and is not easily broken. It works very well. I got some great cuts of lunch meat from this! It is well worth the money because it will save so much on lunch meat. It is large, and with the feet on it, it won't fit back into the box, so it is nice to have a spot on a shelf or in a cabinet set aside for it. It doesn't take up too much space though, but definitely should be handled with caution so that no one accidentally gets cut.

The blade is OK. It's just not very delicate. I need to study the skills after buying it.

I've used this mostly for jerky and for thin slices for a sandwiches. I'm planning on a nice beef and cabbage for the upcoming week where you slice the beef really thin and roll it in cabbage leaves. You need to have the meat partially frozen but not a solid brick. So if you have a piece of frozen meat take it out and let it thaw in the fridge for a few hours. It works best if the outside of the meat is thawed but there is still a frozen center. Don't rush, take it slow. You may have some problems with the assembly instructions but you can refer to photos and it should help get it assembled. If you make homemade jerky, hot pot, or use cheaper cuts of meat that you want to do a stir fry on this is a great cutter to have. It then can be stored back in the box and kept in a cabinet or someplace where it won't take up too much kitchen space.

This stainless steel manual food slicer is an excellent tool for anyone looking for precision slicing at home. One of its standout features is the suction cup feet, which keep the slicer firmly in place during use, ensuring stability and safety. The incredibly sharp blade makes slicing effortless, allowing you to cut through both vegetables and meats with ease. Whether you’re preparing deli-thin slices of ham or perfectly uniform vegetables for stir-fries, this slicer gets the job done. The spiked grip handle provides a secure hold on the food as you push it forward, ensuring smooth and controlled slicing without slipping.Another highlight is just how thinly you can slice—ideal for everything from paper-thin meats for hot pot to ultra-fine vegetable slices for garnishes. This slicer delivers consistent, professional-quality results every time.I highly recommend this slicer to anyone looking for a durable, efficient, and easy-to-use slicing solution!

I have not used the product yet, upon opening i found that the blade cutting edge has a large chip in it and the whole edge has burrs and smaller chips in it.

This slicer is decent; But I think it is rickety, like the metal feels thin and pliable, like you could easily bend it. I didn't expect the quality you'd get from a 400 dollar one, but I did expect it to be bit better than what it is. It does not cut big - thick cuts super smoothly, but smaller things like a summer sausage log, or veggies etc work awesome in it! I do not think by any means that buying half a ham and putting it in here will go smoothly at all, ofc I am going to try but I feel like it will be next to impossible. You wont get a good/ tiny shave from this cutter but if you are looking to cut a small loin, party tray meats and veggies, it is perfect. The suction cups at the bottom are a joke however, buy a matt for it, that helps it stick / stay in place. That could be a risky thing to cut without it being on a solid / sturdy slip proof surface so be careful! Don't get reckless with it, it does have a sharp sharp blade!

This meat slicer is constructed with cheap sheet metal that flexes and permanently deforms when you try to slice frozen meat. It requires a very specific shape of the meat/food to hold it properly when slicing, and even then it holds way too much of it to be useful for reasonable quantities. For example, if I'm trying to slice a chunk of lamb that is 6 inches long but the apparatus holds 4 inches of it, I still have to finish 2/3 of the job with a regular knife. The slicing is also really thick and unsuitable for hotpot, even at the thinnest setting, and is wildly inconsistent. To put the nail in the coffin, the plastic feet came with a horrible chemical odor which took several days to dissipate. I'm not giving it one star because I guess at the end of the day, it did slice the food, and you could potentially use this on something like a cucumber, but it's so awkward and poorly constructed that you're again better off using a normal knife. There are nasty spikes on the holder which cut my hand pretty badly when I was washing it, so be careful when touching any part of this slicer.Edit: I just noticed this, but upon closer inspection, all of the photos in the listing are just computer 3D renders of the product. I don't know about you, but it rings a few alarm bells when not a single photo in the product listing are of the real product itself.
