Works perfect. We put it horizontally under the kitchen cabinet and it holds almost all knifes and scissors.

Hold all of my large kitchen knives well. Don't have any problems with them coming off. Will probably be buying another one for my smaller knives as well.

We mounted this under a cabinet and it holds most of our knives fine, but the narrower long blades (such as a filleting knife) are a bit too heavy for the narrow blades to stick firmly to the magnet, and they fall easily if nudged. Probably would be perfectly fine if mounted on a wall or vertical surface, or only holding wider bladed knives.

I purchased two 24 inch and one 13 inch magnetic bars . I'm comparing these to a couple wooden ones and one metal one I purchased about a year ago and paid more for all of those . These plastic ones are well constructed, came with the mounting hardware and were very easy to mount . Look good on the wall too . They hold knives as well or better than any of my others, were cheaper to buy, and I'm very pleased . If I had it to do over I would buy these instead of the others . I have a large number of knives and some very large chef knives (10-12 inch forged Carbon Steel blades) that these hold very well . The only problem was one had a corner chipped off but the shipping box had really been handled rough by FedX (really crushed and battered) so that wasn't the products fault . I was able to repair that with epoxy, but it would not have effected the use anyway. Got a better deal than I expected and would recommend to anyone .

Great magnetic bar for the $$$.I installed it in my kitchen and it holds up about 15 knives.Haven't had a problem with knives not sticking to it.Magnets are not super strong. I would like them to be stronger, but they do their job.comes with 3 long screws and some drywall anchors (the cheap kind).

LOL. They were stuck to each other....through the boxes! So yes, they have grip! I had to test my knives on it, and they did, right through the box, so I know it will work as soon as my husband mounts in on the wall.....
