These bits are awesome. I routed all of the pockets and groves for a 12x30x14'high timber frame building with a 6:12 roof before it dulled. The up flute cleared the pockets well. I will send it off for sharpening. I did buy another for when this one is being sharpened.

Just a beginner, but I made a jig and used this on my plunge router to create mortises for solid wood doors that I am making. Strong solid bits, made several passes to quickly take out material

I originally ordered this bit to use for cutting circles but I recently tried it with a box joint jig and it works well for that as well.

Tool feels sharp, coating isn’t easy to scratch off, geometry was nice and square (only a few tenths large in diameter by my standards) and weight is about what it should be from carbide.

With the bit just spinning in the router not cutting anything, it exploded just like the other review on here.Brand new, shank all the way down, collet blown out with compressed air before putting it is, high end router right virtually zero run out.Usually it seems like a lot of reviews with bits breaking prematurely sound like a degree of user error. I don’t know how user error could have played any part here. I think this is legitimately, 100% a defective product and super dangerous.Put your face shield on before you even try and spin the bit if you still buy it.

This bit is quite hefty. It cuts wood really well, and ejects the shavings reliably.I feel confident using this bit. Would order again.
