The 2 PCS CNC Router Bit set with 3 flutes has met my husband’s expectations in both quality and performance. The 1/8 inch cutting diameter and 1/4 inch shank make these bits versatile and well-suited for detailed wood cutting and carving. The extra-long design is a nice feature, allowing for deeper cuts without compromising precision. The solid carbide construction, combined with the NACO coating, ensures durability and sharpness, which is important for maintaining clean, smooth cuts. My husband has used them on various woodworking projects, and they’ve held up well, consistently delivering good results. Overall, these bits have been a reliable addition to his CNC toolset, making them a worthwhile purchase.

These bits are very sharp Be careful pulling them out of the storage case - easy to cut your finger. They have three flutes. They are quite long for their diameter, and if you get greedy and force them to remove too much material, they will snap. These are not your main bits, for sure. Use these for fine details, where you need a small diameter tool.

Thought I would try a different 1/8” end mil. Trying to cut out a profile from 0.29” pine and the bit would not stay on the line and wobbled regardless of the feed and speed. Also, could not find a recommended feed and speed for the bit, so I spent a great deal of time playing with the speed and feed of the bit, with no success. Will stay with my current source for CNC router bits.

I normally buy 1/8" endmill bits in 1/8" shank. This time I purchased the 1/8" endmill with the 1/4" shank with the NACO coating. I have used it on 18 CNC profile cutouts that are 1.25" thick Cherry and Mahogany hardwood. This is the best 1/8" endmill I have ever used. I normally use the 2 flute for hardwood, this is 3 flute, I adjusted my speed and feed, super clean cutting! I ordered the set of 5 as a result of using this one bit. I will only use this particular bit for all my future profiles cutouts that require 1/8". It cuts clean and it lasts a long time. There is no gumming, I have not had to clean the bit at all after 18 cutouts that require 12 passes for each cutout. Longevity and clean cutting are strong factors in CNC. I strongly recommend this product. Remember to adjust your speed and feed to accommodate 3 flutes in your tool database.

Don’t be tempted to buy this piece of garbage.Cutting .76mm white pine decorative objects for our business and normally use a double-flute spiral up cut bit (uncoated) and they perform very well. Keeping the feed rate and speed the same, which should have been more than adequate, the bit produced lots of noise. Bit seemed dull right out of the container. Second pass on a 5x5 sized piece and the bit disassembled itself into tiny shards throughout my shop. All because I wanted to try something I thought might be good to produce clean and intricate finished pieces…. Got me good.

I have ordered these twice and they break in the middle of a cut right at the shank. I'm only taking .125 inch at a time. They seem to be pretty brittle. I like the longer cutting edge for my toy making operations on my CNC where I am cutting patterns at 1 in and 1.5 inch, but if they are going to continuously break they are not much help.

Tested size on shadow graph at work and the bit ends up being within tenths of its listed size. No concentricity issues on the shank or flutes.Used at home on a hobby cnc for rest machining from a 1/4” bit and it worked well. The bit is quite long and skinny so as with all tools you’ll need to be careful how you use it.

I was not able to find anywhere in the description but these are upcut bits. It did not matter for my project but I am sure most CNC folks would like to know. I needed a 1/8 inch bit where the spiral flutes were over 3/4 of an inch. This bit has more than that but I could get them next day so I bought 2 of them.Since some reviewers said they broke, I ran my cuts at 90 feet per minute with 7 equal passes. Got a very nice cut and no tear out at the top. Was using 3/4 inch plywood with an oak finish. Not sure how long they will last but they did fine on this particular project.
