Great looking upcut ballnose router bit. I plan to use this in a CNC router for carving in wood.Upcut bits are used for clean surfaces at the bottom of the cut, and rapid material removal with their ability to throw chips free of the workspace. but this is at the expense of top surface quality. So use upcut as a rough pass, and to carve your bottom surface, then switch to downcut for finishing and your top surface.

The bit comes in a very nice plastic storage box with a plastic cap on it to protect the bit. I installed the router bit into my router table. I proceeded to make some test cuts with this router bit against plywood and hard maple. The results from using this router bit were perfect. The cuts were perfectly smooth and flat, no chatter at all. Included with the bit is a sheet that specifies feed rates and speeds for different materials.I highly recommend this bit.

I got this bit along with a number of other bits from the same company. The packaging for is very nice which I really appreciate. This bit is very sharp, and has no visible imperfections. I'll update the review if it dulls quickly, or some quality problem becomes apparent. The price is fair for the quality so this is a very fair value. At this point I consider them perfect - 5 Stars!

This is a nicely made bit that comes in its own protective case. The smooth shank turns into a spiral section that ends in a nice ball nose pattern. The cutting edges are without flaws and consistent.

These appear to be a new brand of CNC bits specifically targeted to hobbyists, woodworkers, and sign makers. The bits arrive excellently packaged, in individual tubes with a plastic sleeve over the cutting edge. Most impressively they come with clearly written instructions including speed and feeds for wood and plastic. This is a huge help as even name brand bits don't publish this information and leaves you guessing as to which settings to use. The downsides of these bits are they do not have a website, the only thing I could find was a trademark registration in the USA in April 2024. So when you lose that piece of paper, those feed and speed and bit dimensions are gone. They also do not publish tool files for your CAM software which means you need to enter all that manually. As you can see in the photo, they cut well! I look forward to using these and if they were to publish a Fusion360 tool file, I would like them even more.

Lately I have had a number of projects on my CNC where this bit has worked perfectly. I'll hog out the bulk of the wood with a 1/2" flat end mill and then finish the project with either a tapered bit or a round mill like this. I like using these 1/4" ball mills because I can take thin passes off (around .005") but can set the speed to 500 ipm or more. The last project I did was a single monogram letter for a rocking chair's top rail. I made an oval pocket in a curved piece of cherry. I then glued some hard maple inside the oval and then cut the letter. Over all it came out great.

I am using this bit in my router. So far it makes clean and crisp cuts and isn't burning the wood. The price point is considerably cheaper than other popular brands, so I hope the bits holds up well. It remains to be seen how long the cutting edge lasts, and I'm not sure what to make of the coating on the bit. I've never used a coated bit before until this, and I can't honestly tell a difference. Hopefully this bit lasts me many years

I tested this and others from this brand in my cnc router - worked great on aluminium.I expect it to basically last forever in aluminium, like most carbide. The packaging is great; maybe a little overboard, but probably a good choice given the abuse I've seen many packages get..The cutter is sharp, and I saw no defects whatsoever from on any cutters from this brand under 100x magnification.
